That's great news, however I didn't find it locked anything important. A few of the past costumes I think, but my favourite is the prowler gear in black anyway.

I had just put 180 hours into Forza Horizon 2 tho. That might be why I found it so terrible.
Broken and buggy games are probably the biggest reason they want retailers to stick to street dates, if someone got a broken game a week before release and ranted on YouTube how shit the game is, it could kill all day one sales.
"I don't understand why the publisher would fine a store for selling early. That's money in their pockets" - Fining a retailer is also money in their pockets, a much larger sum too.
So Microsoft outsourced some basic programming work, the game reached a certain point in development and Darksides efforts was no longer required.
The studio closed because of poor management, and failing to have a plan of work beyond some typing for Microsoft.

Sad for Darkside Game Studios. If Microsoft was impressed with their work they might offer them jobs in whichever studio takes over the game. I wonder who Microsoft will pass the game onto?
