I'm going to keep an open mind about this. If they do a 4-part series for $15 or some equally pragmatic set up then it'll mean those who want the full experience can wait to buy the whole game and those who either want to just give it a try or access it early have an option.
If they pull a Hitman then I'm canceling my pre-order.

The Hololens is simply augmented reality attached to your face. Almost every console from PS3 to 3DS has tried to implement a gaming experience into augmented reality and failed. If Nintendo, of all people, could not succeed, Microsoft likely won't either.
Don't know if you're really missing out on anything. This game has the most floaty, unresponsive handling I've ever experienced in a game. $35 for Need for Speed, Forza 6, or Project Cars is an infinitely better buy.

Backwards compatibility is achieved either by having two systems with similar architectures or emulation. The Wii U easily achieved bc because it was essentially running a triple core version of the CPU found in the Wii. All they had to do was disable two cores.
