After about half an hour of playing Fallout 4, it became clear to me that I was just playing a prettier Fallout 3. So much of the quests were just fetch this, do that, kill this and it completely lacked any soul or humor I found in New Vegas. New Vegas had ghouls taking a spaceship the "outer space." You'll find nothing as spirited in Fallout 4.
The biggest additions, crafting and building, are such timesinks I ended up really hating them. It's like the game...
PS+ on PS3 had AAA games every month. Bioshock Infinite was on PS+ literally the spring after it was released. Online gameplay was optional and I fondly remember picking up a year subscription during Black Friday for just $30.
Honestly, the PS4's popularity has completely ruined PS+.
The fact that not even PS3's PS2 Classic carry over to PS4 is utterly ridiculous. There's no excuse for that.
I would like to see Red Dead 3 and maybe even Agent (if it still exists) before GTA VI.
I own two move controllers. I don't want to pay for more.
Being that Evolution is in the UK, these people are most likely going to Playground Studios for Forza Horizon. I would have really loved to have seen Evolution do something cool with Gran Turismo instead...
Digital Homocide doesn't even have the funds to file a lawsuit (they're running a gofundme with $190 of their $75k goal.) There's no way they're going to get $10 million.
It's funny watching people pin their hopes and dreams on what is essentially just a really cool senior project.
Isn't it funny how the same exact people who say PC sales are non-existent are the same exact people most angry about this?
Microsoft can do whatever they want, and we can criticize them for whatever we want.
@darthv72 The criticism is that Microsoft is making these PC games too console-like on PC. Explain to me how playing them on an actual console would assuage this?
@MachuchalBrotha316 You don't have to worry about them because you were never allowed to have these features to begin with.
"If the PC can't handle it, play on the XB1."
Did you even read the article? The complaints are that certain features like V-sync aren't available because Microsoft insists on using the same framework built for freaking mobile apps on an infinitely more powerful PC. Clearly their PCs can handle it if they're trying to enable V-sync, a feature that purposely drops frames when a PC is performing faster than the monitor can refresh.
It doesn't look bad, it looks like an HD remaster. That's fine, but most remaster are either less than retail price, pack multiple games, or both. Uncharted Collection was $60 for three games and Master Chief Collection was $60 for four. Wind Waker was a complete remake and justified the price, but not Twilight Princess.
If they'd have done a Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword collection then it'd be worth $60. But one remaster for $60 is unheard...
This was an interesting article but you really stretched it for Bernie Sanders. The American Jobs Creation Act gave a 9% tax cut on ALL domestic businesses and cost our economy over $77 billion. That'd be great if it were just small businesses but almost all of that money comes from big players like EA and Activision. Voting no was the correct decision and it's a shame it passed. More importantly, it just isn't solely related to gaming and it's a weird corroboration.
I already have the PS3 and PC versions but that fact that more people will finally experience this game is really exciting.
The Xbox One is doing fine, however Examiner needs to be blacklisted from this site. It's literally a site where anyone with half a brain can post an article pretending to be an actual journalist. If we're allowing submissions from Examiner then we might as well approve forum posts and Reddit threads.
So why did Microsoft defer to Rare for a response?
You know Goldeneye was brought to 360/PS3 right...?
For a gaming publication to immediately assume they know exactly how SE is planning on monetizing this when no such details have been disclosed is extremely irresponsible.
They're all fantastic games and anyone who plays them will have a great time.
There, done.
