This is where the future of the gaming business is. Permanent exclusives just don’t make business sense because development costs are in 100’s of millions
So easy to understand yet this isn’t followed by most corporations who treat their employees like numbers
Good for us gamers. People need to realize MS owns a lot of IP’s so then allowing their games on other platforms is a huge win

They already have had 3 console exclusives that have been received really well by fans and critics
There is talk of new kill zone and or socom along with other live service games
Better option for Sony would be to provide more resources and grow HD2 naturally. This IP has the potential and finally fan awareness so now they should grow and provide consistent stream of content over the next few years
Live service is a very crowded market so chances of a major hit are slim while HD2 has launched and sold well so why not support the bird in hand
When Ms sees how much extra revenue they can generate just from these games on PlayStation and Nintendo they will have no choice but to port more games

Why not more gamers will get to play the game. Not saying Sony should do it right away but do it after 6-9 months with cross play

Keep a game exclusive only benefits the feelings of few who want to feel good about a product but gaming should be reaching out to as many as possible

The reason Phil even said there will be less and less platform exclusives is because the development costs have risen so much. Proper AAA high quality game costs $200-300 million. Requiring to sell 10-15 million is a hard reality. That’s why we will see more games from Sony made available on PC and some live service games may even release on Xbox
