LOL
So basically this isn't a new game, or expansion. Its just a map pack?
That thread needs to be updated... "Burnout Paradise - XMB: YES / MUSIC: NO (10th July for cagney should change this)"
If only they would do something like that, here where i live (Denmark)
Its fairly common to find new games at around 550,- DKR, which is around 60 GBP or 116 USD. ridiculous prices...
I were so hoping for a hunt game, where you could start off playing as small animals, gathering food and doing small quests like that, and then unlock bigger animals by doing said quests... Would be so cool to be a lion and just pwn gazelles all the time.
If it supports gameplay throughout the entire world, then i might purchase it.
It's the latter.. Home will have an icon we can press and when pressed it will launch. But i'm kinda wondering though, if in-game XMB will work in home, or the Home-Virtual-PSP is replacing it..
I don't like it.. i don't like it at all!
Sometimes when looking at my ps3, i actually admired the design values of the old Dashboard. It looks so simple, it has nice colors, and its easy browsing through..
This just looks ugly.. Like some crappy web javascript chat.
Trophies are coming in the update after this one (v. 1.5)
I think its an expansion..
"There are 34 other Trophies that are entirely new ‘goals’ and should provide players with plenty of new challenges. And yes, Operation: Omega Dawn, Operation: Broken Mirror, and possibly >>a new something<<"
Holy crappo! if her nipples were any pointier she'd poke out an eye!
That is one mighty impressive list..
I'm looking forward to some LittleBigPlanet footage and Saints Row 2.
"Athletic" sex? WTF is that?
Anyway, i'd compete in the "Long Distance Events".. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYI.... Ough, why do i even bother..
Why the PS3 is the king:
1. It doesn't require $50 a year for playing online
2. Its firmware updates with new features makes the entire PS3 experience expand incredibly fast.
3. Its not BROKE like the Xbox 360 with its RROD.
4. Its WAY more open than the 360 (Linux, changeable HDD)
and last, but definitely not least:
5. The users on PSN behave more mature than on the 360.
RAM doesn't really matter.
The PS3 does not have any RAM shortage, it all comes down to the devs and their skills in using the XDR RAM and cell processor..
I'm starting to get reheheally fawking sick of all these console-war related "news" stories..
No, The PS3 is not broken.
No, Sony won't quit creating consoles.
No, 2.40 is not another nail in the PS3 Coffin.
Can't we just all stop this crappy irrelevant console war, and just start playing games instead? Isn't that what gaming's all about anyway?
Besides, i really don't give a scheisse what some random writer in California thinks about weekly sales figur...
Although i would also (gladly) classify myself as an achievement/trophy whore, the "collection whore" in me is much greater..
I could've chosen to buy GTA IV for Xbox, but chose my PS3 instead, simply because it fits better with my other GTA PlayStation games.
Anyway, this is a well written article that addresses the whole trophy "thing" in a great matter..
This update (and the promise of trophies + much more content in the future) just made me buy the game...
Well done Criterion.. Very well indeed...
Flow, Battlefield: Bad Company, Orange Box and Burnout Paradise.. Simple as that.
ofcourse its going to be good for games.. More space = room for bigger textures, better cutscene quality and an enormous soundtrack.
And Days of our lives could finally come out on disc! lol.. A 2 disc 400GB blu ray in normal SD quality though.. but with more than 1000 hours of video on each disc.
Have the main site always been there?
