The map improvement is pretty cool too.
No they didn't. They called it Dragon Age 2 (which many of us call "failed game of the year").
I agree with you on a number of points (though you obviously haven't driven a Porsche :).
I don't agree with that the only reason to complain about these things is being able to pirate stuff. I know a number of people that have no wish to pirate anything but loved the PS3 for being able to use it as something more than just a console. The Blu-Ray drive was a major selling point for many to buy it as a media center, while using *nix software to actually have a decent ...
Many companies go through ups and downs in consumer popularity/loyalty and there's no denying Sony is in a downward trend. Often, success changes how a company looks at its customers and usually in a negative way. Support quality takes a dive, they stop listening because the voices are drowned out by the sheer volume and privacy and other consumer concerns become less important. Only 'humility' will change this and PSN going down was a good first start for that.
Nah...
Uhm, if you mean the review, the time was the same for everyone, regardless of what zone you were in. ;) (and everyone even stuck to it!)
If you mean the game: our lucky reviewers have been playing for almost two weeks already.
6 days ago! That's a fluke, for sure.
As is mine!
God, have to wait another day (if my pre-order actually comes in tomorrow).
Couldn't agree more.
Yeah Leon is rather hard to miss, even if it's a short appearance only. :)
Indeed. As the article says, chances are that it will disappear with Windows 8's support for Xbox Live Arcade.
MS has and always will be involved in PC gaming, DirectX is just too important for gaming for them not to. But they could have done so much more had they put their weight behind some of the issues described in the article.
Yeah, it's a little odd doing this at the 10th anniversary of 9/11...
Good game, despite copy/paste of Tropico 3 graphics...
This is the GamesCom demo for the press.
This is one hell of an odd game. Odd, in a nice way that is.
Absolutely tramples Total War. CA better step up, or face Neocore creating non-fantasy themed strategy titles that will put their games to shame. (I love the Total War games, but they've been the same game repackaged for years).
It's not so much that they look different, it's HOW much different they look. It's like playing a game made 5 or years ago while playing one released today. And that's no because of the consoles looking so crap, it's because the PC version is just THAT much better.
I think you've forgotten just how bad the PS2 graphics were, compared to today's consoles. ;)
Holy crap, self-overestimation runs rampant in this one.
