There are no DLC plans for this game.
Oh, don't even remind me of the The Nintendo Direct video streaming problem. Because of it, I kept refreshing the page and missing stuff. I didn't get the thrill of Mega Man in SSB4, and I didn't know Villager was in until Iwata showed the game's official site at the end. Although, I think I like finding out that way better.
I know what's taking them so long though. With how many times I've watched that trailer, I can tell you, there aren't alot of secrets in it.
The GC controller is so nostalgic for me. So's the GameCube itself. It and a hand-me-down SNES were my 1st consoles.
But the GC controller can be used on Wii, and used in most games the Classic Controller is, so what's the point?
I really wish this game had been at Best Buy. Because I know next to nothing about it.

Well if it's that hard to choose which one's get removed, just keep all of them.
As for newcomers, Melee had 14 (counting Sheik), and Brawl had 18 (counting characters who were replacements for others, Zero Suit Samus, and The Pokemon Trainer as 3 characters).
So following that pattern, the new game will have 22 characters.
So if Sakurai keeps the entire Brawl roster and adds 22 newcomers, that's a roster of 57. Does that seem too...
