@stan apparently the gameplay will be very different. LA noire has investigation gameplay while Mafia 2 should stick with the traditional GTA mecanics we all know.
also, the 2 games puts you in each side of the law. in LA noire you're a cop. in Mafia 2 you're one of the "bad guys". :)
the franchise doesnt belong to Naughty Dog/Sony anymore so there is no point getting a new Crash if ND aint developing it.
what could be interesting to see? i want a trailer for AGENT, the announcement of Bully 2, trailer for KZ3, trailer + gameplay for LA Noire... some FF Versus as well...

what is there to be impressed? the FREEDOM, the REALISM and the VARIETY of the GAMEPLAY. freedom to explore huge and extremely detailed aeras. when it came out, the game was nothing but the most beautiful game ever made. it had exploration, fighting, QTE, item collecting, jobs, weather/seasons, amazing motion capture, great story telling....etc most importantly the whole thing had a soul, unlike a LOT of games. Shenmue game was EPIC on every aspect.

Shenmue was indeed a great game, one of the greatest even, and I am convinced that Heavy Rain will not be as good. in fact, i dont think any game ever will.
but in its concept and unique approach to video gaming, Heavy Rain is the closest thing to Shenmue I have seen in the past 10 years. it would be a mistake to miss it.

both Uncharted games are streamed. you got a big loading before you start the game, then it loads as you play (like a youtube video) through the whole game without a single break. the video format is here to avoid breaking the pace of the game because of extra data loading (im guessing higher polygon faces, additionnal items, etc).

why would you prefer to see it in motion? only PS3 users are getting both games so it's not like you have to make a choice.

im not an expert in FPS games but it doesnt make any sense to me to be able to strafe while sprinting. the point of sprinting is to move faster, the inconvenient to that is to move less precisely. its tactical. whats the point of sprinting if there isnt any inconvenient?? it wouldnt be interesting from a gameplay standpoint.
