If the cops would have shot him by mistake? Then what? Some people really need to think about the things they say and do before they do them. Having 1000 pizzas delivered to someone's house as a joke is one thing, but guns and bullets are an entirely different thing. When there are guns in any situation, the possibility of someone losing their life is a very real, and not so funny thing.
^^^^ Exactly... Consoles have a dedicated and growing user base and as long as it's cheaper to buy a console than a high powered PC, this will never change.
I've decided to hold off on this one. I'll make my decision after I watch a few streams on the PS4. I've always been leary of "movie" themed games. They usually end up being a hot turd.

A game journalist who is complaining about a console launch?
He writes stories about games, but doesn't understand that the first year of any console launch probably won't have very many "First Party" games. How can I get a job writing stories about video games? Apparently, all you need is the ability to see, arms, hands, fingers, and (or) the ability to write whatever you believe on a piece of paper.
I totally agree. RPGs today are too focused on action instead of focusing on the hunt for treasure, weapons, armor, and completing quests. That's why most of the RPGs that came out over the last few years suck.
A few gems have emerged from the pile of poop though;
Dragon's Dogma, Skyrim, Kingdom Of Amalur, Demon Souls, both Dark Souls. There are others, but these are the most noted.
A game like this difficult isn't for everyone It's for hardcore gamers who enjoy the challenge of solving problems. If you've never played Final Fantasy Tactics, Vandal Hearts, or Valkyria Chronicles, this game might not be for you.
Loved FF Tactics, it was definitely ahead of it's time.
Why wouldn't Doom be a success? Wolfenstein has already proven that there is a demand for this type of FPS.
Hopefully what ever they're working on won't include robot dinosaurs.

I bought the PS4 because Sony has always had a diverse library of games. With every console that Sony has released, the PlayStation brand has always been able to offer games that fit into every genre of gaming. Approaching it's eighth month since it's launch, the PlayStation 4 is already building a large and diverse library of games. If history is any indicator, I believe that the PlayStation 4 will have more games to play in the first two years of it's cycle than any of it's ...

If there are incentives offered for the game, like release date delivery, DLC content, or discounts, why shouldn't you pre-order? If nothing is offered, I think that choice is up to the individual.
