There are plenty of third party games (the same game actually) for the both systems. The exclusives and services are what stand out and the PS3 is the winner. Not gonna pay to chat, message, watch youtube or update twitter. Not going to play games on 3 discs like it's 1995. Not going to reward MS for fixing their console 5yrs into its life. And damn sure am not going to pay them for cable.
"The exclusives Microsoft does have sell significantly better than Sony exclusives. Halo Reach sold a little over 4 million in its first week, while Uncharted 2 sold a little less than 900,000 in thesameperiod."
Yet Uncharted 2 broke 5 million in sales, probably the same or a little shy of Reach's numbers. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
EDIT: The entire franchise has sold 40 million copies. That's Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Hal...
It shouldn't be a shock the version of the game with a controller is better.
Wait...Kinect is being used to create full three-dimensional computer models of a patient's insides? Stay away from that hospital! They must use the board game Operation instead of cadaver labs.
GT needs bowling. I can't believe you're bitching about the lack of the performance index, but let me guess, bowling is true to form?
Entire city of Cincinnati and a great deal of surrounding suburbs have wideband. BUT, $100 a month just for net access is high. 50MB down is still kick ass. Working at TWC, you know the Extreme and other broadband tiers. 10 or 15MB is still sweet. Price is an obstacle though.
If it sounds like something MS would do, explain XBL? They charge you to use Netflix you already paid for and can access from your phone and PC for free, play online, chat, send text messages...but they won't charge you for something you already paid for? ooooookay ;)
Why on Earth pay to then be able to pay again for services that offer less programming options?
Compression is still going to rape the graphics. Still, 1 disc is more 2006.
Are you serious? So we get no plat and no Move? There's no reason for it to be 29.99
Move
Weird. Those numbers would indicate its publisher is shifting focus, Xbox 720 release doubtful. After all, Resistance 3 "only" moved 274,000 on launch.
I think it's who sent the reviewers swag packs vs who just sent the game.
We go through this shit with damn near every PS3 exclusive and guess what? They sell. Everyone seems to think they're supposed to pull COD/Halo numbers. And when the hell did 274,000 week of launch turn out to be bad numbers?
I think so. I enjoyed the beta, but was turned off by the monthly subscription fee. Eliminating that barrier opens the game up to a ton of people. Myself included.
I don't trust IGN and damn sure don't trust Sega with Sonic games.
Fun interview! Makes me want a 360.
EDIT: 4 disagrees. LULZ.
Gamefly has 2 negatives in my mind:
1)Too slow
2)Too expensive
IF Qwikster can offer the same pricing model on games as they do DVDs (with the distribution centers they already have), they will be a force. And I'll start renting games via mail order again.
2 of the best games of any platform, any generation. If you haven't played these, do yourself the favor and buy this collection.
Play games, not chat.
