i always thought quake was like the test child for DOOM. until DOOM3s tech was used in Quake 4. i always liked the thought of DOOM being a premium series where the other franchises were just test tech. but il never doubt the genius that is john carmack. any man that does rocket science for a hobby is good in my books! p.s- i only own a ps3. i played gears of war, must say it is fun to play. no doubt about that but on average, the ps3 has more games to my liking.

are these third party controllers OK with sony?
the reason i ask this is that third party controllers are cheaper than DS3 but whats the point if it doesnt work or if sony has the ability to block them via a FW update.
here in South Africa the price of games are about the same. fooking ridiculous. this is why im all for used game sales and that devz should STFU about it. i buy a lot of my games used, mainly coz used games are half price and i get it like a month or 2 later. other games that i buy are those bargain bin deals.
