Why can nintendo see it they would dominate the market if they can build a top of the line consel to rival the competition. They might not have the best online service but all gamers need is reliable multiplayer/cross game chat/ some type of video apps. They can easily live off multiplatform games while relying on their exclusives to seal the deal.they dont need to go out of their way to create new ips.wii/wiiu is becoming the zune of nintendo

I do like free games but man i always buy the games i want to play on release day, those that i dont care to play or have zero interest in will never buy. I know most people buy the big tittles on release day. Psn is winning by giving free games and not putting apps behind a pay wall.not doing anything new they dont really have dedicated servers its still p2p based. They dont support ipv6 and for those who dont like running a wired network it doesnt support 5ghz wifi band. So yea their multiplayer is lacking on the connection side. I dont know about you guys but but i find it easy to start a part. Simple xbox snap party>start party>invite and from there you choose who you want. I do admit that the whole notification thing gets annoying cant clear it out.
yea its not perfect theres a learning curve i can now star a party and send invites by just using voice commands. people asking why you guys making a such a big deal. xbox snap party->start party->invite so and so and so. all while playing bf4 idk about you but thats very useful also, xbox turn off menu comes up say yes console turns off
its horrible here in the states comcast which seems to be running a monopoly in some states by paying cities to keep competition away. comcast has a data cap yep so does at&t and charter along with other top providers. they all have a data cap hidden with in your account. you get charged more for going over that now imagine those who play lots online and stream netflix, now add other home users say family members all streaming. yup the data cap gets reached fast. the isp providers pay off...

Xbox live is not perfect but its regarded as a better online service. The thing is ps4 still relies on p2p with no real dedicated servers for their games.ipv6 is not supported and relies on 2.4ghz for their wifi connection. Idk about you but just that leads me on that their service might not be up to par. But hell ill take alll those freee games
