This game get WAY too much attention for all the wrong reasons. its a decent action game built on the same bones of the original (which was better and more unique for its time) with a ham fisted political flavor of the day story complete with all the usual tropes. Journalists love lobbing praise at it because it makes them appear to be placating the mob that pushes the games theme and message.

Please just no, honestly the confusing naming convention and different model spec is enough to deal with. MS need to just stick with what they have...the Cheap but underpowered S that is digital only and the full flagship model X. If they ever made a Series X without a disc drive don't give it a name name just do what Sony did and call it a digital edition.
I disagree, the older last gen systems are struggling to keep up even with the newer games. I know optimization and all but devs dont seem to be doing that very well. The only good thing about the older SKU still being in place is the PS5 being so much more powerful then the pro, it makes the issues almost non existent when played via backwards compatibility

This should surprise no one really. Its Japan, Xbox is like herpes over there. In fact Im almost positive Japanese gamers would rather have herpes then own an Xbox lol. Yes I know it sold out at launch but the last 3 generations have shown next to no growth for Xbox as a brand in Japan, with the 360 digging deep into the paid Japanese exclusives to get noticed. Buying the digital may save you up front but you're buying into a eco system that will inevitably cost you WAY more down the line. the people complaining about this game are the uncultured ones, can't stand that cancel culture BS. The slight touches to the end were enough to make you tear up at the nostalgia. this game was beautifully executed
They clearly have some really talented devs for making platformers they should consider letting this become an actual series. This game was extremely well built both as a demo for the controller and a unique platformer. none of the sections last long enough to become tiresome but there are tons of hidden items for subsequent replays. I did not expect to enjoy this game as much as I did, got the platinum for it and am only missing 1 trophy from the small expansion
I absolutely love this game. Got the Platinum for it already, its not a long game but its fun, makes great use of the controller and is packed to the brim with PS/gaming nostalgia

It doesn't feel rushed it just feels new. Things work differently because its a completely new GUI. Yes things will change/improve over time but the PS5 would feel lack luster if it used the same PS4 GUI and functions. Which is why it baffles me how MS could make such a massive oversight for a new product. They are a software company yet they seem to be shoehorned into the same stupid model they follow with Windows 10.
Sony's store icon is the only place youll see that stuff, MS need to do a better job of segregating ad space to less intrusive spots.
