Yeah I like to think of it this way, Xbox is a console made for first person type games and the largest audience for that is Americans. Ps3 is perfect for 3rd person type games, im not sure what the wii is, probably party like stuff and it out sells either two, then you see microsoft making the kinect games because they want to get their talons into that part of the market. Until this generation I never really new Japanese people are behind in terms of technology to Americans. Thannks Ha2e48 for making this known to me. Thankyou XBox community for making me know the errors of my ways, only your advanced knowledge made me realise how something that has more power is worse than something with less. But they also got to have bigger maps, MW3 annoyed me because there were too many corridors and little room and it felt cramp and if you like sniping its pretty annoying. Soo I would say also think about map type which suit different gamers so they make much more balanced.

Yeah that is very true, I havent got a gaming rig, yet, but i keep playing Age of mythology on my little laptop I need to invest on a gaming pc, I would probably treat it as if it were a next gen console haha.
@Shutupandtakemymoney its obvious you didnt even read what mysticstrummer said, and he said the 64 player online is the only real game changing factor is the 64 player online. That is what he said. Please read what people say before jumping to conclusions. 64 players online is really nice I remember playing resistance 2 online on the ps3 and that was really awesome, and so was MAG with its 200 and something players online.
790,000 in japan alone isn't a flop in any standards, try and work out how much money that is alone. However compared to the competitors yes thats really not great. However its only been 6 months, wait till COD comes out or wait even till next year im pretty sure it will sell a lot more by then.
That sounds very expensive, dont forget most console gamers buy consoles because they are conveniant and not too expensive tell me how much a pc would cost with just the spec you mentioned there.
