Yeah been seeing a lot of hate on that WiiU personally I think it looks freaking awesome as a gamer I'm excited, that controller it has looks like it could add something interesting into gaming like imagine battlefield 4 and you had to diffuse a bomb or something like that would be awesome or if you were in fighter jet you could have switches you could flick. Now that would be awesome :P but yeah went of on a bit of a tangent there but I do see a lot of doom speak :P
It's true many gamers don't like halo, but there are lots of fans. Look at how many people buy call of duty compare its sells with that of halo. Halo is a quality game though, where I'm from though it gets much hate but I think there are more gamers who like rpg style games better where I live.
Their called investments, like gakai, that was a smart move on their part and one thing for sure sony isn't low on cash. But they do have to market more that is for sure.
Halo gets a lot of hate from where i am from, so does little big planet and the most hated is call of duty which i dont particularly hate myself
But mr_mike my dad who is 56 whose has had a nes, snes, megadrive, 64, dreamcast, ps2, xbox and gamecube. The lens is least of your worries for me it's the hidden perk called host pro when someone has host connection and they can even pull of bullets that bend round corners and tactical enemy respawns which are always behind you

I as a gamer am very excited for the innovation wiiu will make with zelda, mario and the metroid series I for one certainly love their rehashes.

Ive had my 60gb model since 2007 and may sell it to get this new one because mine has died twice now and im going to be without a console for a while and look at all them games i may miss, assassins creed 3, dishonored, last of us the list does go on and call of duty
