What is the price point for Move to support two players?
"Cradling air, you then pull back and throw, as if hurdling a bowling ball down the lane without the help of finger holes.
It takes a bit of getting used to for those of us who rely on those finger holes to bowl, but it's not that different than the typical experience of bowling in real life."
uh...you mean all of this time there were finger holes in my wiimote and I didn't know it. DAMN IT!
Who wants to play a move game using a dual shock vs a sub controller.
Who wants to play a game one way knowing that with an additional controller the experience would be much better. I can't imaging these so caller "HARDCORE" gamers wanting to play a move game unless it is done with two move controllers if that's the best way to do it.
I think as a minimum a person should own two wands and two sub controllers. I know I'll be buying...
Funny thing is how EVERY bit of negative information about Kinect is generally taken as truth by the haters and naysayers, while all positive news is take by these people as needing to be proven.
This my friends is the true meaning of blind judgement.
Okay, so you would prefer for your 360 to continue to run so that you can just that last camping kill you're waiting for rather than protect itself. Do you realize how stupid that sounds.
Okay, I'm disapointed that it shut down on me mid game, but 15 minutes later I am up and running again vs being on the phone with MS 360 support.
To each his own I guess.
How ironic, beta testing is something developers use as a tool to help them to produce a better product. Something that saves them time, money, and embarrassment.
Somehow they have managed to make it appear to us gamers and a privilege as if they are doing us a favor. They are using our curiosity to get us to down their testing. And it's gotten so bad that we are now competing to "WIN" a beta key.
Wow, have we become lemmings or what?
Actually, you need to rotate your torso slightly sideways to drift. As opposed to your hand for steering.
I can appreciate your point. Perhaps I was wrong to judge you like most of the other rabid fanboys on this site.
Besides, you were just saying what's right for you.
My bad.
You guys are so quick to call someone a lie when you don't want it to be the truth. However if someone say's something negative, it can be a mom and pops newspaper with a 4 year old editor and you guys call it the truth. Of course unless it's about Sony, then of course you pick them apart; kind of like the article earlier about the guy that thinks 3D is a waste of time.
Such an immature bunch. I'm not talking to anyone in particular because I know there a...
I could bet money that if the situation was flipped and Sony had Kinect and MS had Move, you last statement would somehow be reversed stating how much better for you it would be if you had nothing in your hand.
Let me ask you this, when you point out directions do you need a pointer to make yourself feel better. Do you need boxing gloves to shadowbox? If move is compatible with a football or basketball game, would it be easier to pretend shooting or throwing with a handle...
Please also provide a sensible argument for Move using the same analogy.
I'm very interested in seeing how you see move using the same criteria.
If I can't sit for driving games, and things that would typically require sitting, then I will likely pass on Kinect. At the same time, the only thing I have ever played sitting on my wii is mario cart and smash bros.
Either way, they need to make the thing track your skeleton while sitting, even if it has to only track the upper body and the ankles while isolating the hips and waist. I don't care how they do it, they just need to do it.
But at the same time it will probably bury the PSP in the process. I find it hard to see Sony being geniunely glad about the 3DS or the concept of not using glasses for 3D being all of their technology uses glasses.
Kind jesture to say Sony, but I don't think you mean.
Would love to try this for myself. The guy that tested this could have been a overweight lazy bum that can't get his feet higher that 1 inch off the floor when running is place and was wondering why is avatar was moving so slow.
Just kidding, to me these are just the kinds of things people need to try for themselves. As beans said about, as with anything it probably does take sometimes getting use to. I mean, it's painful watching my girl try and click onscreen o...
"Microsoft had a clean slate with the 360s, to make it uber reliable and put extra care into the hardware design, they clearly did not."
Wow, you managed to rebutt and then jump right back to conclusions all in the same comment. I don't think I have ever seen that before..lol But I'm sure there's a name for that.
I'll have to agree, I will buy Kinect, but besides Dance Central and EA Active 2, I wouldn't spend 60 bucks for those titles. 39.00 - 49.00 would be my limit. I'll just wait for them to hit the bargain bin, because at 60 bucks, that's where they'll end up.
Perhaps for the same reason you do it everyday with you lame comments.
Edit: @lirky and D4... What do you think beta testing is? Companys experiment with consumers all the time. Hell Sony pretty much admitted that with the PSPGO, but I don't hear you mentioning that.
Just a thought.
There are many PC that uses the same principals and they run just fine. Also, the new Xbox runs much cooler and will produce less of a problem.
Stop exploiting every single issue you get to hate on Microsoft, and try to at least display that you can you some form of common sense. I know this will be difficult for some people because they have no sense of responsibility, but for those that do, don't give in to this silly flamebait.
It's called twitter, or are you unsuccessfully trying to be funny?
I think a core gamer is a gamer that plays "EVERYTHING" not just casual games, not just RPG, or shooters but everything from casual to blood and guts.
Kinect has connected with me and I will buy it, even at 149.00 I can see many things that I think are cool about Kinect. Do you try and play tennis with a wheel? (no you don't) Different controllers have different purposes so why are all you people trying to make Kinect perform all tasks, it's simply stupi...
