I had the same problem. To fix it first right click on any Youtube video and choose Settings. From there just un-check "Enable Hardware Acceleration." That'll fix it.
Anyways I'm glad to see a bigger focus on story in Dark Souls.
It would be really nice if the console version had dedicated servers. Being able to create a custom match that can be viewed from a server list would be amazing too. No longer would one have to have friends playing custom matches in order to enjoy one.
Lol thanks. I just stuck with a single character and kept playing until I got it. I'm really looking forward to Dark Souls. I'm sure the Platinum will take longer, but it is worth it in the end.
Congrats to you and Kee for getting the Platinum. It is for sure pretty time consuming, but it is so satisfying see it pop up in the end.
Seems pretty similar to Demon's Souls trophy list, which isn't a bad thing. It is interesting that they actually have a Platinum trophy equivalent in the Achievements.
I'm liking all the new weapon upgrades though. They seem to be more diverse this time around. It appears though that there isn't any armor customization, which is sad.

IMO this game is going to be a sleeper hit. It doesn't seem to be getting a whole lot of hype right now, but it'll for sure be one of the best games this gen.

Exactly. The console versions barely handle 12 players in a match. Even the there is a ton of lag. I don't even want to think about the amount of lag the game will have with 32 players in a single match and no dedicated servers.

Can you provide a source that proves that? I see no reason why a non-Valve game wouldn't be able to use Steamworks on the PS3.
I doubt Activsion would do that though since it'll easily make the PS3 version better than the 360 version. I don't really mind though, it would be nice, but I doubt it'll happen.

I agree about the voice chat. It was just terrible in Borderlands. Only the host can somewhat be heard. Everyone else just lags like heck.

PC? When did they confirm that Halo 4 will be on the PC? It would be great IMO, but M$ seems to prefer keeping it's few exclusives on the Xbox now.
Same here. I want a full on map creator. Forge was nice back when Halo 3 came out, but now it is just too simple and Far Cry has shown that MUCH more can be done.

Exactly. As long as the PS3 version runs fine and doesn't have any major issues I'll be fine. Otherwise I'll never support another Bethesda product again.
I don't care so much about the timed DLC, but if the 360 version is distinctly better than the PS3 version I'm going to take my money somewhere else.

The only question I have is how are new cards acquired? I didn't read anything about having to pay for booster packs or anything, but there is a card trading system. What would be the point of a trading system if everyone had the cards? I must be missing something here.

Anyways it looks pretty darn good IMO. The UI is nice. Other videos have shown that the touch screen is pretty accurate when someone competent is using the device.
This is a day one buy for me.
There are three things I really want to see.
1. Get rid of the damn bloom. Halo is about skill, not luck. Bloom just ruins the gameplay IMO.
2. Either fully remove or balance armor abilities better.
3. Have an actual map creator now. Forge was nice and all when it came out, but now it is just old and not that useful IMO. Far Cry 2 did a full map creator in 2008. Why hasn't Halo done one yet?

Now it is possible that they're using dedicated servers, which can easily handle 32 player matches. If it is still PvP though it'll be unplayable.
I myself don't see it being 32 players on consoles, but it is easily possible if they're using dedicated servers.
