There isn't a need to worry at all. There are no longer levels in the game. The whole world is open now. So these are here so one doesn't have to start back where they begin the game every time they die.
These fires probably won't be near any major bosses or anything. So you still have a lot to go through again if the boss beats you.
I can't wait for the game. Every new screenshot and piece of info makes me even more hyped for me.

Four AAA games the same day. That is just torture.
What amazes me the most is how the cars damage the experiment. In most racers the track doesn't get damaged at all from the cars crashing.
If you don't care about the MP in FPS's then why are you in this article.
MP is what makes game $60. You get a LOT more bang for your buck with KZ3 than you ever will with a game like BulletStorm.
I myself don't buy games for full price if they don't have a good MP in them. I get a LOT more play time out of games with a decent MP than I ever will with a normal 8-12 hour game.
Man inFamous 2, Move.me, and now this? This has been a pretty good GDC. Makes me look forward to E3 even more. I'm sure there's a LOT they're holding back until E3.
I agree the overall graphics don't look that great.
I myself though don't like the art-style at all. I'd much rather have a darker looking game like TP.
I've never been a big Zelda fan to begin with. I was thinking about getting this, but it is just painful for me to look at.

They'll be in the game world for you to go up to and start. They'll be along side the official ones. I'm guessing the creator chooses an area for the mission and thus places the "Mission Start" point by it. User created missions will have a different color to them so you can tell them apart from the official ones.
There'll still be official side quests too.
Yeah having something like this for the co-op would be pretty sweet.
I am still hoping that there'll be a true MP of sorts. Preferably competative. There is still a chance since Sony won't talk about the XP system. It could very easily had been related to the way you leveled up in the first game. Since they won't talk about it that means it relates to something else, which I'm hoping is MP.

I believe Uncharted 3 will be GoTY this year. From the little they've already surpassed the second game with the small amount of footage they've shown. Drake just seems much more real. He interacts with the environment much more.

There could still be MP in inFamous 2. Look at Socom 4. They just revealed the custom Co-oP campaigns for it last week and the game comes out in about a month and a half. There is still hope.
MP for inFamous 2 has a LOT of potential. I hope they have a big reveal soon.
None the less the game will be AMAZING.
The cutscenes look pretty darn good. I didn't expect them to look that great. The facial animations are pretty good. The actual gameplay isn't anything amazing, but it does look pretty good.
The only Socom game I have is Socom 3 and I never played it online. If I like the beta then I'll most likely pick this one up.
I'd laugh if it was Gears on the PSP2. Epic has said that they're really liking the tech of the PSP2. It wouldn't be too surprising if Gears of War: Exile was on it.
Anyways Gears 3 is looking pretty good. As long as the game actually had dedicated servers then everything will be good. I myself am not going to spend $60 to play the MP, so I'll pass and just get Uncharted 3, which I'll enjoy MUCH more.

Yes I do, but Fallout 3 on the PS3 was a wreck. I just hope Bethesda doesn't repeat themselves.

Looking good. Hopefully they'll finally release a game that is almost bug free. Gears is a good franchise that deserves to have a good MP. Neither of the past two games have been that great. Gears 2 even to this day has MAJOR host advantage and lag issues. Hopefully Epic actually uses real dedicated servers so that the playing field is even and all that matters is skill, not luck.
I myself won't be getting Gears 3 though. My Gold expires the fourteenth of September...
I really hope the PS3 version is on par with the the 360 version. I hope they've taken the time make sure their engine runs well on the PS3.
The game looks AMAZING. However if the PS3 version is just a cheap port then I won't get it. I have a 360, but don't really care for it anymore and only get multiplatform games on my PS3 for the trophies. If I had a good gaming rig then I'd get it on the PC, but the PS3 is the best I have ATM.

Is stealing legal? He stole the root keys for the PS3, which Sony has a copyright on. Devs have to PAY Sony to use the root keys.
