IMO they should just do like Black Ops. Have an "All-Time" leaderboard along with a "Monthly" and a "Weekly." That way EVERYONE is happy.

Why would Sony not try and see how well a game sells by revealing it and releasing it two months later? Apple always announces their stuff and has it release not to long after that.
There has already been a LOT of hype about Starhawk without it even being official yet.
It would be much easier to have a month or so of really good marketing to get people hyped for a game and keep them hyped until release than to spread stuff out over a ...
The big difference is that Warhawk and Starhawk are on a MUCH bigger scale than Halo ever has been on before. Plus air-combat is much more prominent in Warhawk/Starhawk.
When I first saw the mechs I thought they were new Warhawks as well since it is quite obvious they have wings on them.
Anyways I can't wait to see gameplay later today. This game is going to be AMAZING. I really do hope it comes out in July/August.

The videos are AMAZING, however the SAME ad over and over again was just stupid.
I'm really interested in seeing what the code will unlock. It is a pretty lenghty, all number, code that is obviously going to be redeemed on some website for a code that'll work on either PSN or XBL.

IMO it should be Starhawk or whatever Warhawk's sequel will be called. Warhawk was an AMAZING game that really does deserve a sequel that'll push the PS3 like all other recent PS3 exclusives.
I new IP would be great though later on. Warhawk deserves a sequel and I'm 100% it'll be revealed this Friday with a release date in either July or August.

Well the game has been in development for at least three and a half years if not four now. So it'll for sure be done this year. July and August are the only two months left that do not have a major PS3 exclusive coming out.
So I'm just putting two and two together. People have been hyping the sequel to Warhawk for a while now. Sony just needs to show some amazing footage and advertise well for two months.

I myself would like to see some more Dark Souls footage, but it seems like it'll be a new game reveal instead of info on an already revealed one.

They've already mentioned that. They've promised that they will not make such a drastic change in Uncharted 3's MP post launch.
I really did love Uncharted 2's MP until they ruined it with all the patches that nerfed everything.
I still can't wait for Uncharted 3 myself. It is already guaranteed to be the BEST SP and BEST MP game this year, thus for sure being GoTY.
The issue is will their fans be willing to pay $15+ a month to play it? I sure won't.
If anyone is kind enough I'd take a code, PM it to me. I really want to see myself if Epic has finally fixed the MP. Gears has always had a LOT of potential in the MP, but due to glitches and lag it has always fallen short IMO.

IMO it isn't the amount of players that matter. It is how many players the maps are designed to work best for. I hate it when games put a large number of players together on maps that are meant to handle half that amount.
So no matter how many players are in each game in Starhawk I'm sure it'll work perfectly. I myself can see them increasing the number of players from 32, but if not I highly doubt they decreased it at all. Thirty-two players worked perfectly...
I don't see how ANY game this year can beat Uncharted 3 for GoTY. The SP is going to be mind blowing. I really can't wait to play it myself. It is the ONLY SP of a game that has MP that is announced that I care about.

Man every time I hear any music from Uncharted, especially the main "Uncharted 2" theme a HUGE smile just grows across my face and I get tears in my eyes.
The music in Uncharted is just so epic and beautiful sounding. IMO it is the BEST music in gaming this gen.

I was alway going to get the game on day one, but if Amazon wasn't going to offer the collector's edition then I would've gone somewhere else.
Anyways now all we have to do is wait until October.
