I agree this is one of the best selling periods in 360 history if not the greatest. Games coming out now and later have been the most graphically impressive this generation. This article can only be seen as famboyism. The 360 is outsrlling the competition, where they get the 360 is losing steam I don't know.

Yeah that suckes my sofa is against the back wall l would love to use 7.1 on my new AVR. Doesn't matter I guess I don't have a PS3 anymore. Fanboys and media have always compared the two premier SIMS on both platform because it is seen as fun rivalry for some media and It's famboyism for most other media and fans. Man these things are going to be expensive. Is this really a social design? This is the equivalent of Microsoft were to design the 360 with kinect as the core premise of the 360 experience but designed kinect in such a way where each member of a family needed a kinect at its price.
It's not suppose to look exactly the same as at home it's suppose to show the differences. They both look different at home but the differences are the same or close depending on what the low quality media is missing or hiding when it comes to flaws. Online media can only give us an idea of how things look or compare.
Developers dont use multi core/thread development that often and when they do It's on a very limited level(Geometry Wars uses multi thread development) Some of these later games are using more of each thread in each core now.

He's talking about autovista where you can use kinect to zoom in really close, the entire game had to be upgraded graphically because of this. Autovista needed to be graphically impressive resulting in the rest of the game needing to be very close hence the real time dynamic source lighting engine that was created.

Do you even have a modern HDTV? Bad gamma curves cause lag, and a host of video processing features cause so much lag tv makers build special game modes on their tvs to combat video lag.
