No one has been buying games all year because most of them flopped due to being mediocre and over hyped. The pre-orders are different because uncharted isn't going to stand a chance against the competition's exclusives and mega multiplatform blockbuster AAAs as you can see based on consumer interest. Pre orders are like polling take it or leave it.

Part of COD success is because of the preference of 60fps. No one is using this issue as a weapon against other FPS's. Only people mentioning this are PS3 fanboys. Don't let them start excluding games they feel should not be counted. They never use a consistent rule of thumb, as if what they think is good should qualify a game as relevant ignoring the consumers diverse taste all the while.
