I have yet to try this game. Perhaps I'll give it a go in future, more likely so if it gets a sale, although I doubt that will happen soon, considering how popular it is.
I agree, I like Nintendo's games, though, I hate their consoles and handhelds and would enjoy them on different platforms, but let's be honest, its not like this would actually happen, at least anytime in the foreseeable future. Nintendo would have to pull one hell of a clusterfluff to enter a position where becoming a 3rd Party Developer would be much better alternative to making their own devices.
How on Earth does this man still hold a job as a analyst? I can not think of one major instance, where he's predictions held any validity after the fact.
"With a tweet released earlier today, you he says something to the effect of “This game is not a Musou Game. It is an Action / RPG title that will arrive in Spring 2015 in Japan”"

So hopefully that's translated correctly, I would be very disappointed if it were marketed as an Musou...
Well as much as I agree with part of what you've said, it has been a really long time since we have had that classic true JRPG formula through and through on Consoles.
Was a little bored when they were showing all of the Western titles at first for the PS4, but then it became the best conference of the year for me when they started showing the JRPGs, Y's, Persona 5, Disgaea 5 and Dragon Quest Heroes coming to the PS4 was all great.
Same here (still was some what excited being Dragon Quest fan) but, I became much more optimistic once he told us its not a Musou game.
How does going from 512MBs to 8(4.5)GBs not make much of a difference?
I'm hoping for something on FF Type - 0 and maybe a new remastered game.
Or both 3DS and Vita.
Well they surprised us all with FF Type 0 I'm sure.
"Xbox One Pre-orders Pretty Much Don't Exist In Japan" I thought they were getting lots of preorders at first, now they don't have any?
Its been confirmed by the developer not to be another Warriors clone though, that it is an action RPG. Also its not a mothership title, clearly, so I don't comprehend what all the fuss is about.
I stand by thinking they are comparing PS3 and PS4 to Wii U as the PS3 is still a viable platform, while Wii sales have slowed to a crawl and X360 are nonexistent, so why compare it to platforms that aren't competing. Also handhelds aren't part of the home console market so why bother?
Maybe this is a way to test the waters a little.
Hopefully this is a sign that we might see a new real DQ on the PS4 though.
Now that was one long Press Conference.
Decent conference so far. Show me a few more JRPGs for the PS4 and I'll call it the best out of all the conferences so far. *Okay Sony, now get at least half of these localized and you win, my wallet loses. (Persona?! *Yesssss!!!!!!!!!!! PS4 ASWELL!!!!!! Themes! )
Yep, Sony's showing some Vita love today.
Same here, I would love to play their games on other platforms, but I don't see it ever happening.
