I wonder if they are going to bring back some of the old gameplay mechanics they removed from the last gen version, like the how the game was supposed to be darker, more menacing and that the torches would have been more useful. *Well after reading it kinda seems like that's what there doing. Not sure. Could be misinterpreting it.
Maybe not?
Black Desert console exclusive? Or another Korean RPG perhaps?
We already have Bloodborne (no need to get greedy) which is the second spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, so I highly doubt it's that, and I don't see Dark Souls going exclusive. I personally hope its going to be an old IP we haven't seen in a while (DQ perhaps, or Dark Cloud, Legend of Dragoon, or something along those lines) or something brand new.
True it should be taken with a grain of salt (as should any rumor), but considering this is Playstation, and its exclusive JRPG announcement, isn't much of a wild guess.
@Rimgal he could be referring to the franchise as a whole, not just the one game.
I agree with much of what you say, I still enjoyed the game immensely, but I can't really play it more than two times. It felt really rushed to me, the game itself only took about 3 in game days to complete, and the side mission were so boring, where are the good and evil karma side-missions, or simple missions where you help secondary characters. I think First Light fixed a lot of this, if we could combine the two sets of side missions, I think they would have been much more fun. Now ...
One thing I hate about MS with Xbox is they do have quite a few really great IPs, but they hardly use them, instead they normally rely on their go-tos Halo, Gear, Froza (Which I'm personally not into). I'm really hoping we see more of Fable this generation along with those JRPG IPs they only used once.
Love the music!
Reall! Great! Only wish it would work with an iPhone, but this works as well.
@Ashlen yet that doesn't negate the fact that its a good game.
First things first, get rid of that crappy auto-attack/dodge button immediately.
I gotta have my Fable, but speaking about that no, they aren't even making a real Fable, just another spinoff like Fable: The Journey
I'd readily buy an X1 if it got a nice price drop during some of the sales later this month, I wonder if I could get a good deal on cyber monday.
While I'm perfectly fine with it, that is if the indies are enjoyable which the past few have been for me aside from September's lineup, I doubt that the PS3 lineup won't have any sort of AAA title.
I think if they are going to show it anytime soon, which they should, it would be at the PS Experience event in December. To me it just makes sense, we have to agree that the PS4's huge success has been in PART due to hype which surrounds it, so while there isn't anything magnificent in their holiday line up, this along with something like the Ratchet and Clank reboot (and possibly that rumored 3rd party game) could create some waves of hype that could help further it success this wi...
@andrewer Because Ubisoft is purposely gimping the game, just like they did with PC Watchdogs, they should not be able to get away for any more stunts like that.
@live2play Two wrongs don't make a right.
With Kingdom Hearts 2.5 on the PS3 that blows both the X1 and PS4 out of the water for me.
Next year? Ugh. I really haven't enjoyed AC since AC2, or Brotherhood. Black Flag was entertaining for me, but the others far surpassed it for me, and I've yet to play Unity. I'll wait a little while longer while the bugs get worked out even more. *Ubisoft give me an AC game set in Japan or China already!
