This could end very well for the 360 or the PS3 could completely destroy the console by doing a very simple thing, cut the price of the console by $50 just by christmas. If that happens, well all I can say it good luck MS, when the console drops by $100 by whenever in the future.....GAME OVER.
Nintendo made the gaming industry big, will be poetry in motion if it ends up destroying it. I must stress that Nintendo is a business and business is to make money, Nintendo are onto big winners with the DS and also the PSP. If Nintendo wanted to right now they could produce a console which completely destroys the PS3 and 360 in terms of specs but will they do that? NO they are making more money now they could could have ever done with a console such as PS3 or 360.
This game will sell at least 5M and no I am not being sarcastic. Look at how many sales that petz game got on DS....15 Million.

It will be mighty interesting to see the sales for this game when it releases, 70M DS out there so it could sell more then GTA IV but when you put market saturation into the mix it becomes unlikely.

Well it is $200 for a stripped console and like it or not it is just a box with none of the essentials, those being a decent HDD for storing data, no wireless and the cost of that is £60 aka day light robbery. Then there is no online, headset etc so add those up and were at $300 again for the core.
Well in NA it is very possible but EU and Japan.....PS3 will tear 360 apart.
I see many people have been touched by my statement, simply shows what I said was correct. No matter how you put it, the UK pays much more then America but yeah the pay is higher in the UK due to the prices also being higher.
I know another place in EU has it really bad, I think it is Sweden but there is also Australia and New Zealand which have it even worse.

The price cuts for the 360 are signs of extreme desperation in order to compete with PS3's upcoming games and of course the phenomenon which is Wii will sell no matter what happens. PS3 and Wii have no need to reduce there prices, both have very bright futures and less so the 360.
To the people who think Wii only sells due to being cheap and now the 360 will have Wii numbers.......prepare for an extreme shock.

Yeah the attach rate for the 360 is amazing, I myself do not help the PS3's attach rate as I get a game every 4-5 months but that is due to not many good games being out, FFXIII, Versus, GOW 3 and LBP will change that.
Also people can play down this as much as they want but PS3 has this one thing which will make casuals buy the console with no intentions to play games.....blu-ray. That x factor is what will make the PS3 sell the amounts the PS2 in it's peak once a price drop occu...
Ugh once again the NA does not equal the world, if the price but causes a 360 purchasing frenzy it will at most mean the 360 sales worldwide are equal to that of PS3. 360 needs to make the 360 big in Japan will looks less and less likely every week but more importantly the EU however the PS3 has caught up with 360 sales despite being released a year later so that's not happening.
MS is a huge business and can afford these kinds of losses but one does think how much longer they can keep doing this, if the PS3 and Wii trounce on the 360 again this generation it will be hard for MS to see a point in staying in the console industry.
I think the xbox consoles future depends on the PS3, if it beats the 360 sales in it's lifetime which like it or not seems as though it is going to happen. Also this price cut has happened in EU and made absolute no difference at ...

I posted this yesterday but for some reason people were reporting the article and giving me grief so I just deleted it. This is Famitsu and they have confirmed that the game will be releasing 11th December so this is definitely true.
Very smart pricing there, basically $10 for SOCOM so most people will just fork out that extra couple bucks and buy both. I myself will be importing this to the UK.
