It hasn't taken the wind out my sails, if anything its put the wind back in them.
"The drought" had taken the wind out of my gaming sails, playing last gen ports or HD rehashes on systems I paid $400 and $500 for was a serious downer.
For me personally, Destiny really marks the point where the current gen starts to taking off. We have a ton of awesome looking games to look forward to from here on out.
It will move some consoles, but not to the point of being considered a system seller. That being said, it looks refreshing and it's one of the few x1 games I'm excited for.
A more eclectic mix of games similar to the OG xbox.
Really looking forward to this one, it sounds amazing
day 1
Perhaps you should be asking yourself about the need for damage control, I never claimed there was a need for it.
My question simply pertained to why you feel the need to hop into every Hyrule Warriors related submission and deem everyone who disagrees with your view of the game as being nothing but a troll.
And what's the issue with the same person submitting two reviews? The contributor didn't write the reviews.
Are you getting paid for damage control? This is literally like the 4th or 5th post on two different threads where you've repeated the same thing over and over
I've learned that every game of 2014 is likely to be a dissapointment
"I was expecting more of a massively online Skyrim "
This is what I was expecting too, maybe not as content heavy as skyrim, but certaintly something more than we were given.
The original Halo had more interactive environments that Destiny does. Its actually quite mind blowing how utterly sterile Destiny's environments are.
Theres no incentive to explore anything, no interesting easter eggs, no cool environmental physics....
That Titanfall staying power got you mad or nah
@Danowat-
I agree with you, except for the expectations aspect. Personally, I bought the game thinking I was getting an fpsMMO title, but I feel like what I really got was a watered down Halo title without the Halo charm.
They didnt market it that way because thats not what it is. 3 man teams per area is far and away from mmo.
I played the beta and I really enjoyed the game. However, I purchased the retail game and I'm just not enjoying it despite trying to convince myself that I am.
Not sure what happened between now and then. I guess I had created my own idea of what Destiny was; An open world Sci Fi MMO FPS. In reality its a open map sci fi shooter with a seamless auto "drop in drop out" pick up group feature.
The hype was strong and I took the bait. Shame on...
The Console v PC argument is officially over? lol k. The argument was never over the use of controllers. Power, scalability, upgradeable, versatility, convenience, software offerings, etc are a few of the things in the Console v PC debate. PC has had controller availability since way before the onset of xbox, its nothing new. Get it together.
Sure hope they at least consider releasing it in the west
How are these articles getting approved? The grammar is horrifying.
The wording of the article title makes my head hurt.
How exactly is someones experience with a particular device even relative to the world wide sales of another?
Does the guy who buys a moped out of necessity for transportation have a more enjoyable motoring experience than the person who purchases a high end sports car? Who knows, the target audiences and purpose of each machine is very different, but the astronomically higher sales numbers of the moped sure as hell gives no inclination to the level of enjoyment of the othe...
Good, let him burn. The guys a total douche anyway
People care about xbox one because of its current and upcoming exclusives. Sure, PS4 has more 1080p games that's great, but its not everything. Just keep in mind, these are only game consoles designed for entertainment no need to get so serious about it. Better yet, maybe one day you'll be in a position to afford both systems like any other normal productive member of society. That way you can hang up your ps4 crusader shield and actually approach gaming for its original purpose; to h...
