Man I wish I was one of those lucky bastards. Been counting the day to the PS5’s release since this month started.
@atticus
How is it “defensive” if what I said is fact?
To be fair it is their job to dissect, explore, and analyze all the nook and cranny of games so that us ordinary consumer can know what’s going on inside them. This could be a good thing, as a lot of time, devs tend to lie about lot of thing such as resolution and other developments techniques.
“ Im sorry, but where did they say anything about ray tracing for Gears 5? Nowhere. They added a glossy upgraded version of SSR“
“ Gears 5 Xbox Series X enhancements include ray-traced global illumination”

This game wasn’t natively built for the Xbox SX. Look at Day Gone PS5 patch, that game will run at dynamic 4K which mean not native 4K either, because it wasn’t natively built for the PS5.
Just sayin’.
Now remove denuvo, which is seemingly the cause of the game’s bad performance.
What a stupid, stupid company. I thought their partnership with MS mean that they are at least willing to change their way. Apparently not even MS can shake them out of their stupidity.
Yet lot of games run either 1080p or 1440p on this “720p” machine.
“ Quality over Quantity and we know Sony exclusives has quality”
This wasn’t the case when Sony had more exclusives and more first party studios than MS. Since the role is slowly starting to reverse, now suddenly quantity doesn’t matter?
“ Don't ruin all the next gen games with an inferior console dragging all games into the dirt”
I’m sorry, but do older PC hardware drag newer PC games into the dirt? Why is it that alot of new multiplatform games on PC have even lower hardware requirements than the Xbox Series S?
@1Victor
Except that Halo Infinite will also be releasing on the original Xbox One and Xbox One S as well, both of which are much weak than Xbox Series S. Do some research first before commenting.
MS has 20+ first party studios. I don’t think you need to worry about their exclusive.
What’s wrong with someone who wanna buy cheaper console?
A comment that make sense get downvoted to hell and back. You’re right, people keep saying Xbox Series S “held back” next gen, but they themselves forget that alot of multiplatform games on PC have even lower hardware requirements than the Xbox Series S.
It should exist to be an option for those who are unwilling or don’t have enough money to afford a true next gen console.
@nexus
I should have worded my previous comment better, but sagapo is right, I find both the PS5 and the Xbox SX launch lineup weak (the PS5 is much better than the Xbox SX, but still).
I don’t think it is easy (or even possible) to build a $500 machine that can match either the PS5 or Xbox SX.
@hellcat
I don’t think you really know what the term “launch lineup” mean.
