Cloud technology could be used for for game in two way, one is which you have mentioned, and the other is to improve the fidelity, graphic, and scale of the game. Flight Simulator doesn’t depend entirely on the cloud, it depend on your PC’s spec as well. You can’t run Flight Simulator on a potato PC and expect it to run well.
