Its not a flatout survival game. The only “survival” you need to do in this game is eat regularly, which is verry very easy as there are an abundant of food everywhere you look, especially in camp.

No company ever owe someone anything. However, they want to sell their games don’t they? Then that mean they to make something that people actually want to buy.
I love the tutorial. It set thing up for an epic adventure.

They explained you how to shoot, loot, hunt, ride horse, talk to the npc, and even how to rob a train. Isn’t that what tutorial is about?

On the PS4 Pro? I have to say on my base PS4 it looks unbelievable. Such a great looking game.
They did dominate early on during last gen when the played their card right. Obviously, it gonna be a very hard hill to climb for them next gen but with all the recent changes within Xbox, I could see them being successful even if they might not beat the PS5.
Companies like EA and Ubisoft should take note that if you create a good game, then it will sell good as well.
Why bring RDR2 to the discussion? If their unannounced project is really Fable, then both games are nothing alike.

But can you play those games on any other console? By now you should stop beating a dead horse. MS games are gonna appear on both the X1 and PC, but won’t be playable anywhere else.
The problem is this game is gonna be filled to the brim with MT/IAP. It might have been acceptable is this is a straight port of Diablo 3, or if it is a premium title, but as of right now people see it nothing more than a cash grab.
Seriously, they should allow running in camp. There is no reason for not allowing that. Here’s hoping a patch will fix that.
Yeah mobile game takes years and years to develop. Plus, a second studio had be opened just to develop it.

That AAA support was two years only. After that (until today in fact) Sony rely on indies.

I kindda wish Persona 4 Golden was the top selling game. That was one of the best games of all time.
The last exclusives were Sea of Thieves and State of Decay and the next exclusives are Fable, Halo, Gears of War, Ori, Battletoad and the upcoming Crackdown 3 which will be released on February.

You are right. If people want a more arcady game, they are always free to play games like Assassin’s Creed. RDR2 give people who want other kind of experience.
