The only GaaS game so far from MS (at least from what I know) is Sea of Thieves, and that game doesn’t even have microtransaction right now. Games like Forza Horizon 4 is also getting updates for free and there isn’t even a lick of MT in sight.
So I don’t know what you are seeing.
I’d rather have the Zelda Trilogy, but this one is nice too.
You are right. Games like Fallout 76, Battlefield 5, and Metal Gear Survive cannot be compared to games like Celeste, Hollow Knight, or The Messenger , gameplay-wise.
Well, their game will also be available on PC. So you don’t own a PC too?
Or you will comment without ever reading the article.
“I’m glad they are still ‘alive’ and funded my MS.. but Hellblade will probably be the last NT game I ever play bc of the aquisition. ”
You just gonna stop playing their game because MS acquire them? Wow...
I keep hearing IO Interactive. Who knows, maybe we’ll hear something at the award show.
@Jakiah
Using that logic then Sea of Thieves would have been nominated for GOTY and then would win it alongside every MS games.
I partially agree with you, however, looking at the Switch’s library one year in comparing to the PS4 and the X1, the Switch does have a better selection of better quality games (especially exclusive games).
Heck, if we are using Metacritic score as a measuring point, then both the PS4 and X1 has only gotten their first (non port) 97 Metascore game in RDR2 (a third party game at that) while the Switch has two 97 metascore games released in less than one year. Smash Ultimat...
Worse still, he gonna get upvotes for making that ridiculous statement. Only on this site, folks.
I didn't see this reasoning when indies were thriving on the Sony platform (or Xbox for that matter).
That Switch sale. Nintendo is on a roll.
Awesome. Been looking forward to this one.
That is easy. Red Dead Redemption 2’s dynamic open world events. Sure it had been done before in the last generation, but RDR2 does it so seamlessly and (almost) flawlessly that I feel other open games from now on should adapt this mechanic.
I am more excited for this game than any other Tales games in existence. Tales of Vesperia is truely the best Tales game ever made.
Also, the file size is most likely have something to do with the 4K texture.
Yes it is a sequel. How can the author missed that?
Smash is Nintendo’s game. It is rated E, which mean Everyone in case you don’t know. They didn’t enforced their rule on any other games beside theirs, at least on the Switch. Plus, you wanna see boob? Then play Xenoblade 2, which, ironically is still a Nintendo FIRST party exclusive game.
Now Sony, on the other hand, enforced their rules on other game developers, even if those games are aimed at adult. That is where people have problem with
We have people questioning other people on whether or not the own a phone, and now we have the mystery of where the canvas stock has disappeared before finally re-emerging out of nowhere.
What a year.
Consumers win in this case.
Yeah I would really like to see the studios that they have bought start making games and not sitting on their asses doing nothing and waiting for paycheck.
....oh MS said they will announce new Ninja Theory game early next year? Obsidian said they will unveil their new game tomorrow at the award show? Phil Spencer will also be there and seemingly be there to unveil something else? Nevermind.
