Why wouldn’t they remain long? What is the point of buying up the studio if they gonna shut them down like a year in? They sorely need more first party exclusive games you know and how is shutting down their newly acquired studio would accomplish that?
I’d love to see Sony making a new PSABR. They have more than enough first party characters now. Imagine seeing someone from games like HZD, Spiderman, Detroit, The Order, or Ghost of Tsushima appear in the game. It would be awesome.

Gameplay-wise, you are correct, GoW triumphs over RDR2. But story and atmosphere-wise, RDR2 takes the crown here.
But most people here won’t share that outlook though.
That is why it is good to own multiple consoles. There is no rule or law that state you can only own one in your life.
A game has to run good and play good first in order to be better in portable.
