Wrong, most gamers don’t like live services games no matter what company make them.
But why does it have to be live service though? That is the real question. This game could have easily be a single player+multiplayer game in a whole and complete package. If it is done well, who knows, it could even be the COD’s replacement that Sony is looking for.

Development hell? Lol what? Hellblade and Fable literally just got shown during the last MS’ showcase. Using your logic, are games like The Last of Us Faction, Fairgame$, and Marathon in development hell because they don’t have gameplay and release date yet?
And Awoved being pre-alpha does not mean it is far from complete. It is already set to come out next year. And as for your other points? Smh.

So when should they announce it? 1 month before release? Fact is, we don’t even know when this game started development. For all we know, Bethesda could have been developing this game alongside Starfield since before its reveal in 2018. So where did you guys get this 2028 date from?

In the last few years, Sony had bought Bungie, Insomniac, Bluepoint Game, Fabrik Games, Firesprite, Firewalk, Haven Studio, Housemarque, Savage Game Studio, Nixxes Software, and Valkyrie Entertainment. MS has bought a total of 0 studio after their negotiation to acquire ABZ has started.
So please tell me, fanboy, what do you call that? Not buying up the gaming industry? Or does that apply to only MS?
Sony has been doing the same thing for decades and N4G has never had any problem with it. But now that the table has turned, you call out MS? I could have sworn just a few years (or heck, months) ago N4G has been sh*tting on MS for not having enough exclusive game. Now that they starting to release some, you guys still sh*tting on them for whatever reasons you make up.

By that logic then Nintendo is actually the king of all games sales (for console maker that is). Go look at their sale chart compared to Sony and MS.
Companies like Obsidian, Ninja Theory, and inXile would still need to find publisher for their games anyway. Under MS they have the cash to do whatever they want without having too much worry.
Games don’t take just one or two years to develop anymore.
Don’t let him know that this game is also on PC, where people can play at a glorious 4K 120FPS if they have the right spec.
