Not everyone ever play all 3 games you know.
Let’s not act like you have the authority control people to not spend their money.
Maybe a Nintendo Direct for either next week or next month will shed a light on this.

I know. Sound ridiculous. But I’m willing to give them a chance on this as Retro is a great developer.
It is heavily rumored that a Starfox racing game is being made by Retro.
Oh yeah you gonna have to laugh even harder when Metriod 4 comes back and better than ever with Retro at the helms.

What are you on? No one say this game good because of Twitch viewers. Heck, even the quote from under the headline literally state the following:
“Sea of Thieves is an exploration-based pirate game that features great sailing mechanics, but the open-ended plot doesn't appeal to everyone. You have to find your own path and that doesn't sit well with those who prefer single-player experiences.”
Yes it needed a few tweaks to make the experience better. I for once wish they they would include a better fast travel system.
Other studios should take note of this. It is better to reboot the game and restart development rather than releasing half ass game and patch it later hoping for the better.
There are many other titles that deserve to be called this. RDR2 is nowhere near a disappointment.

By that logic then the US was full of “Kids, hipsters, man boys” last year.

I mean, Sony did left the handheld market to solely focus on the PS4 (and to a lesser extend, the PSVR) too, yet I don’t many people (like yourself) condemn them for it like they always do with Nintendo.
It is only natural to focus most on your successful business. Also, if we get technical Nintendo did not leave the home market. The Switch is still pretty much a home console if you choose to play it that way. It is also advertised as hybrid, not a handheld.
New games are coming. But people want older games as well, especially the ones that most people haven’t played yet. Port of older games can help fill the gap until new games hit.

People are talking about the here and now, and that is the Nintendo Switch. What is the point of bringing the Wii U up? Everyone know it was a failure. What would you rather have the Nintendo fan do? Sit there and cry for the Wii U?

Studios announce games and then cancel said games all the time, not just Nintendo. I’d say it’s actually was very responsible of Nintendo to reboot the game when it is bad rather than canceling the game outright like MS did with games like Scalebound.
