Sad but true. That's the point where they decide to not compete with the latest in technology against other competitors and where Sony easily took the crown with the innovation of their PS one.
That could also be a reason and that maybe also the reason they are not working on a VR device, because they don't have the first party studios to support and make enough games for it.

Xbox one s and Scorpio is announced and Xbox one sales start to decrease even more.
PSVR and NEO is announced and PS4 sales keeps increasing even more.
A few weeks ago Microsoft released their financial results and hardware sales were decreasing even more. People were justifying that saying that it was because of the Xbox one S and Scorpio announcement but the same thing happened with Playstation and yet sale...
And yet, evidence shows that Sony has never made something like that. It is very unlikely.
Sony does not rush their product like that. When they announce a product they usually release it 8 months later at a minimum. I can be wrong but look at PSVR, when it was announce and when is going to be released. Also look at the PS4. I doubt they will announce it and then say: hey, is available next month.
Very very doubtful.
Nintendo should go the SEGA route. They can make millions selling their games on other platforms. Imagine a proper mature Metroid game on Playstation... Wow that would be insane. It is obvious they cannot compete anymore in the console market so save money by not making anymore hardware and instead focus on making games on all platforms.
By how things are going, they must consider that option soon.

This game is not based only in space. As previously shown in other videos, you land on a planet where you have to do something and survive. Also, there is a peripheral gun made for this game that people who have played with it says is super awesome.
Can't wait to have my PSVR in October.

The dualshock 4 is a great controller that was praised overthe Xbox one controller. Saying that the PS4 did not launched with a great controller is so wrong in every sense.
They have been missing the mark for a long time. They cannot give a good game one month and then pretend every other month has been good.
All I wanted was a proper console with a proper mature Metroid and Zelda game. Cartridges? What an obsession they have Jesus but it reminds me of the Vita which use cartridges too. It also reminds me to Playstation TV, which was a hit in Japan. Oh well. Another Nintendo device to play Nintendo games. Don't expect good third party support in this one.
Can't wait to play resident evil 7 on PSVR. Is going to be a while new level of immersion

Can't help but to feel disappointed. I was expecting a console but looks like Nintendo is done with that. They are sticking in the handheld market with what it looks like to be a powerful 3DS with Playstation TV integration. Playstation TV was a hit in Japan. I can see why they are trying it.
Remember when MS tried to control the console market with their "trade in policies" where you could only trade in or sell your games through them and "selected retailers". Remember how they wanted to control how people played games with their always online policy and DRM policies and how they failed because people raised their voices against them?
They are trying to control now the PC market as they failed against Sony in the console market. People mus...
It is just more clear that if you want to play this game, you need a PS4. I doubt is going to be on PC but who knows, maybe a year later.
I am glad PSVR is getting so much support and I have no doubt is going to be more popular than Oculus and Vive
