although I do agree with everyone that M$ is just trying to eat my wallet, I also do believe that if we are to see some good effort into PC gaming, were going to have to stop pirating in which we'll never see in our lifetime since more than half the PC gamers are pirates unfortunately.

The economy is failing and the game industry isn't exempt from that. You've seen it easily by game developers that very well bring out original gameplay but, sometimes barely make enough such as PS3 games (no offense)that come out with great games like Little Big Planet which is a great game but, simply because, of the economic meltdown, people just want a few games that they and their friends could play together for a lasting time usually it would be 1-3 months average and if it'...
If you have a choice to buy it or not, everyone knows there's a possibility of being addicted so then of course they know they once had that chance to choose not to buy whatever game they knew they were gonna be addicted to for example : WoW, Call of Duty and Halo which are the most enjoyable games that last for years and years.
I didn't even read the article but, the headline should be a good testimony to those who wanna make a choice before they buy the game.

Although I'm a huge fan of Halo and used to play Halo 2 religiously... Halo 3 was on the bottom of my choices of games to play without any understanding why but, without giving thought about it, so much about it I don't like. I read the books and everything but, when Halo 3 released, it just tasted so bitter.
But, after playing the Halo Reach beta and the full release version, this game definitely cured that bitterness I had from Halo 3.
