The story did make sense, it was one of the best storylines in a game this generation. Thats why its one of the top 4 best rated games of this generation. MGS4 was never "slammed" by critics. A 94 at Metacritic is amazing!

Sorry dude, driving the car in real life is like that - the dash is angled towards the drivers knees and the windscreen is awkwardly angled and sized just so that little light hits the dash unless the sun's in the middle of the sky. It's not your fault, a lot of people have made this mistake :)
