I know some people like how games looked and played 20-30 years ago, but I would never knock a faithful remake with modern gaming tech.
lol gamestops like the sears of gaming. It's been dying for years and shutting down stores left and right, but somehow still exists almost everywhere.
If you already have a gaming pc owning an xbox is pointless now since exclusives launch on both. Sort of a shame xbox doesn't offer more because I do like supporting american companies.
Lol the massive 1mb ps1 memory cards.
@pyro steam offers a refund xD
@eon MS had a chance to do something. The 360 did give them a small foothold, however their always online and kinect mandatory presentation killed them. It really didn't help them telling deployed soldiers to just buy a 360 if they wanted to play xbox either. Basically insulting their majority market that typically does overall support military.
I really don't have any loyalty to a pc service, but one issue I have with the epic store is the anti consumer mindset. It lacks the ability to refund a game even if it launches completely broken, and also doesn't allow user reviews of any kind even for verified purchases.
Lol the US is about the only place the 360 sold at all, with like 30% of the rest being europe. Sony pulls world wide.
I've heard the one x at least is passable. Apparently the pro dips into the 20s from 60fps even just riding in a vehicle.
Sadly looks like Randy Pitchfords overall terribleness is now effecting gearbox as a whole
I tend to just go console for most shooters honestly. I stick to pc for most rpgs and virtually any strategy game however.
MS has 0 impact on this game, and is being funded by another publisher. MS of course will have say on any sequels this is will assuredly get however, and it'll be interesting to see what a larger budget will yield with ms backing.
I get the mindset, but supporting good games made by small companies is also important. If we as a whole are always cheap then we deserve ea and the like to milk post purchase with micro transactions.
Typically HDDs are too slow. The load load times are usually it transfering data to RAM(short term memory basically) which is significantly faster but usually still needs to access the hdd for other things thus you get load times. SSD essentially cut this out entirely.
I doubt I am explaining it very well. Essentially the Hdd is always being used as it stands anyway every time you get a load screen.
Even the most closed off from the pc gaming world have known ssd's offer an incredible boost for at least a decade.
Zoinks Fred I would agree but look behind you it's a g-g-ghost pirate!
How was Samus707 inappropriate?
One thing I have noticed from sony is they never force a sequel immediately despite its success. I of course assume they encourage it, but allow devs to avoid burnout and tackle entierly different and new IPs between. Their insomniac acquisition might support this considering sony wanted to buy them years ago. Insomniac has been know to want to try new things all the time and it shows.
EAs super power is the ability to kill any dev and turn their games to trash.
pc/ps4 cross-play sure. However Sony gains nothing from allowing cross-play between ps4 and xbox. Last gen Sony offered and Microsoft refused. Now that Microsoft can barley keep up with Sony all of a sudden they want it? Sony has every right to keep them out in the cold, and since they lead the console market it's just another advantage to PlayStation in the end.
