I'd say there's a decent shot MS will make them, but their track record reguardless of them recently buying up studios has been pretty poor. If they however do manage to start producing like nintendo and sony PC/XB might have some decent tripple a's in the coming years
Historically aside from the ps3 the cpu is the weakest part by quiet a big margine. It'd certainly be nice to see something on an current gen i7 level especially for physics and ai but it seems really unlikely
