VGW actually lobbied for a dildo replica in the Platinum Edition, but alas...no dice :D
Just don't read his initial Uncharted review :-/
One of the SLOWEST in recent memory...
so the game's 80% complete, my question is why not just add this content to the disc and do the right thing? Are the execs in Japan totally deaf to the very loud revolt that's happening against Capcom right now? I have no problem with companies making $$$, but this is how companies eventually fail.
I hear ya. With their experience, it couldn't have been difficult to get XIII right the first time. I think they had a false impression of what a westernized RPG should be. I recently played FFX again and it drove home just how anemic FFXIII was...
This.
Activision are reasonable, business-minded people, right? Certainly they've learned their lesson from two peripheral flops. Add to that the increased trend of reboots and HD remakes....Maybe this is just wishful thinking, but I think it's time.
Bought the collector's edition.....
*Grumble*
As a 3DS fan I hate to disagree, but it's difficult to argue with that logic.
One thing I *will* say is that I'm quite certain Nintendo launched the 3DS extremely early to beat all the "3D without glasses" phones, tablets and laptops to the punch.
I'm guessing that when the system gets a larger install base and Nintendo stops trying so hard to push the 3D gimmick - and instead focus on games - we'll see some new, original IPs.
News-turned-opinion, for the win.
I have to disagree here. I think Crystal used the sex appeal as a "trojan horse" to sell copies, but though the franchise had some missteps, the earlier games were rather groundbreaking and offered a great sense of exploration.
Thanks Kran. I was doing a million things at once.
Does a fanboy-free site mean that they should suck everyone's dick, or hate all things equally? No. It means they're objective and call it like it is in a logical fashion. That's what was done here.
For one company it will...
Knowing Gamestop, they had a very early heads up on this issue and communicated with their managers that employees wouldn't be able to rent any copies.
Hopefully.
EDIT: @coryok: Are you a gamestop employee? Because yes, they totally can and do rent new titles, regardless of their written policies.
you know it was. Now, let's hope it also deters sales of new copies.
note the "opinion" piece tag and lack of review score...
But...it's not a review :-)
If this was the same score applied to Uncharted 3, I'd bet money it wouldn't get approved here.
Not sure what prompted you to think the game wasn't completed. One of this site's founding principles is to finish games before reviewing -- in fact that is why the initial review was published a week AFTER Catherine was released.
