Agreed, Vicophine. You put it well, +Bubbles. But in my opinion, Gears is much too slow-paced to be compared to Socom. You're right about the tactics, though. The pace is nearly identical, but the speed of that pace is vastly different in my eyes, being a hardcore Socom vet.

Right when I saw Resistance:Fall of Man around launch, I immediately thought it would be compared and versed against Halo 3 and the franchise as a whole. Nut, nope.
Apparently I'm wrong. Looks like a fast-paced first person shootem-up will always be compared to a speed-tactical 3rd person shooter. So idiotic.
