I'm not flippin out or anything. I just think they're overly cynical on certain games that don't deserve it. Especially back in the day, when they were trying their hardest to be funny (how can we tie Tom Cruise into this?)
It could be a play on words, but I just think it's his nick name
I did like the subway scene, which was kind of a ridiculous scenario. You knew what was coming, but it was still freaky. It reminded me of the tent scene from "Blair Witch"
The sequel needs to get rid of the generic guy going to save his girlfriend story. It'd be cool if the sequel was a collection of recovered films from amateur film makers and newscasters who aren't running and refusing to evacuate even though New York is going to get nuked.
We usually agree on everything, but I don't think it looks anything like the creature from The Host.
The Host creature was a mutation of tadpole, salamander/ mudskipper
It was my first Blu-ray movie (memories)
The Host looks great on blu-ray (so does Hellboy, Sky Captain, Paprika, 300, Curse of The Golden Flower, Scanner Darkly, Underworld 2, Pirates 2 & 3, Reign of Fire, Ultraviolet)
Casshern on blu-ray? Awesome!
Oldboy is okay. ...
It's nothing like Godzilla
Also, Godzilla was Japan's way to cope with the nuclear attack. Cloverfield felt like the opposite, by practically milking 9/11 imagery to unsettle the viewer
I hated the last 10 mins. It was so unbelievably forced. Monster gets bombed, lashes directly at the helicopter, they plummet from about 60 stories and are fine. Monster becomes a ninja and sneaks up on them. Directly looks at Hud, and apparently only nibbles at it's prey since hud's upper half (only thing visible on the camera) is completely fine, as well as, the camera which just fell from about 24 stories. Monster doesn't even pay mind to the others. They grab the camera and run under a br...
It looks like something from H.R. Giger
R.I.P. Joker
King Kong wasn't meant to be anything unearthly. It was concocted in 1933, so what do ya expect
Resistance creature design isn't very original. The whole viper/angler fish (boney irregular skull, multiple black eyes, long translucent teeth) look has been done in a lot of films. The Cloverfield monster was fine until the last few "forced" minutes when it's staring at the camera. It went from kinda cool to generic.
If anything, Cloverfield seems reminiscent to H.R. Giger's work (guy who created the Alien monsters)
Yay, I didn't know Midna was on the roster.
This is nowhere as cool as Bible Fight. Adult swim has the coolest flash games
Okay, I love how they don't mention any of the game's flaws like bad frame rate, sporadic and repetitive controls, pop-in and a near non-existant draw distance. Outside of the assassin showdowns the level design is rather bland, the city is broken up in small patches instead of streamed. dialogue and voice acting on borderline of being Yakuza bad. Yada yada yada
Now don't get me wrong, I actually like the game, but it pisses me off when they give a game like this a 5 out of 5, ...
Eeeh, what's up with the pro tip video
t-squared is a douche bag
Why did they have to ruin the video with that god awful song
I hate Shiny Toy Guns
What ever happened to Harker?
Did anyone think this would be coming out in 08?
I don't care if it takes them till 2010. I want this game to be immaculate
The game industry needs its own Guy Fawkes
It looks great at times
They need to fix the plastic Ken hair he's sporting. His whole outfit is way too reflective considering it's a leather jacket and denims. The character animations still looks a little rough
Keighley a gaming "expert?" Since when?
What ever record he set straight was completely destroyed by the newscast after the interview. Stuff like this makes me hate american media. Conservative republican, fabricated, Clear Channel bullsh*t
That was a lame list, although America never really had that many good arcades games.
I love all the old arcade brawlers: Final Fight, The Simpsons, X-Men, Captain America and The Avengers, Spider-Man (The Avengers),
Fighters: Marvel vs Capcom 2, Hakuto no Ken, Soul Calibur 2,
Misc: Space Ace, Dragon's Lair, Time Gal, Taiko Drum Master, Guitar Freaks, Time Crises 3, House of The Dead 4, Sunset Riders, all the neo-geo mult-game units
