I'm getting my PS4 day one and I have no desire in seeing the UI first. Mainly because it's not going to make a difference in whether or not I'll get the system. I'm buying for the games not UI.
Great read. While I don't like the thought of having to pay for online play it's offset by the fact that I get great games free as part of the service. I currently have 22 games on my PS3 HDD. Out of those I think 17 come from PS+. I have another 4 on my Vita. That's incredible value. If they can keep this up on PS4 then I'm fine with it.
Yeah I don't understand why people are so mad. If it's so important to play on PS3 then don't upgrade. Once I upgrade I have no plans on going back to PS3. Plus its free.
I just picked up a Vita about an hour ago. Sitting here at work letting it update and setup.
Why is no one taking about PS4 the released day? I got an email from GameStop saying that PS4 official release day is 11/15/2013. I have one reserved. I wonder if its true.
@Smoovekid-That sucks. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully that was fixed with everything else.
I'm enjoying my PS3 copy. Then again, I didn't get it til they had worked the bugs out. Im 70 hours in and no problems so far.
So many people who started out with FF7 missed on what I think is the best Final fantasy in 6. Kefka is a lunatic, lol.
I have Rikku, Tifa, Celes, Rinoa, Lightning, and Rydia on my list.
Don't understand the Lighting hate. I'm not a huge fan of FF13 but I think Lightning is the best aspect of the universe. She's in my top 10 favorite FF characters.
I'm ready to play Rikku again. She's a beast in the later levels.
The difference between Live and PS+ is that you actually get more than just playing multiplayer. I'm sorry you feel screwed but the value is so great its a non issue for me. You can choose dwell on paying for MP or you think about the value of getting all these games. My 320GB HDD is almost full from games off of PS+. I've been wanting Xcom and now get to play it for free. Its free because I got my money back from the other 8 or 9 games I'm playing.
I don't understand articles like this. Why cant there be room for both? They don't have to compete with each other. If this game turns out to be good I will be buying both.
I don't understand what the big deal is. True backwards compatibility was only available for one generation. That was on the PS2. People act like it's been something we've always had.
When I saw that the Wii u was using the PowerPC I instantly thought about the Macs years ago. I did't know if the architecture was the same but I remember the PowerPc didn't count on clock speed as much as an x86 proc. A PowerPc gets more done per cycle than an Intel or AMD proc but it requires different coding. If the Wii U is the same then expect the same kind of shitty ports the PS3 gets because developers don't want to recode.
And yet people keep buying COD. Companies will keep releasing games with bugs and glitches because they know gamers will keep buying no matter what. Yeah they'll bitch and whine about it but when the next game comes out they buy it anyway. I buy very few games at launch because of this very reason
If you go to Youtube and watch the reviews they are mostly positive. There is no indication that this game deserves the 4's and 5's it's getting.
Bad Company run on a different engine. Personally I still think BC2 is better than BF3. The guns have better balance than they do in BF3.
Batman Arkham Asylum for me
If this arguement is true then whats the point in buying new systems? We should just keep current systems.
