Makes sense. If a game provides such huge amount of choices and lets your character get married in the first place, then why the heck not?
@Reservoir:
Thanks! I try to do my best to give good reasons why I feel the way I feel. Mind you, readers are more than welcome to disagree and to give reasons as to why they disagree. I don't mind changing my mind as long as someone can provide a good counter argument! :]
These is a really good list! :]
@LOGICWINS: Thank God I'm not the only one who thinks so. And this is coming from a huge fan of the original. I still regularly bring out God of War for my PS2 and play it from time to time.
I know. And I expect an insane amount of anger and raging, like with my last list. But, eh, you can't please everyone! Most people probably won't understand the fact that it's just opinion. Specifically, my own. :]
I actually mention in the bit about Katamari that it's a really good game. I enjoyed it a lot. Games being bizarre doesn't automatically make them bad in my head. In fact, I also loved Seaman and liked Muscle March from what I played.
As for the "homophobic" part: the article is meant to be humorous. I'm actually gay, so there's not homophobia involved. :]
They're not characters, they're games.
It's completely true. God of War III didn't evolve the series in the slightest, it fell behind other action games like Ninja Gaiden, DMC 3, and Bayonetta, the controls were still atrocious, the story was weak, and the game wasn't even six hours long. The only redeeming value in GoW III is some cool boss fights here and there..
Uncharted has a shoddy shooting system, automatic platforming, hilariously simple puzzles, and a semi-decent cover system. Uncharted is bar...
Meh. Uncharted and God of War III are subpar at best. They're games that sacrifice good gameplay for the cinematics.
Fact: Forza 3 is better than Gran Turismo 5.
Fact: Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is AWFUL. And this is coming from a Rare fanboy.
A lot of those are pretty awful, and the 360 is my console of choice. Fable III is particularly bad. That list needs Forza 3, Mass Effect, and Sprinter Cell Conviction.
Also: Alan Wake is actually a really fantastic game. Shame that no one appreciates it.
Glad you guys like the article! :]
Calling me an Ocarina hater shows a lack of reading comprehension. :]
What everyone is forgetting that not only does this six games look better, they'll probably be better too.
ChiVoLok0: Thanks a lot for the kind words! :]
Micro_Sony: Believe it or not, I'm actually the furthest thing from a R* fan. GTA is the bane of my existence, ha, ha!
Somewhat. I actually wrote this review some time ago and I wasn't originally planning to link it to N4G, but since I recently saw someone posting a review of Other M, I thought: "Why not?" :]
Believe me, my issues are not technically with Ocarina of Time, but a mix of this being a lazy port and the game falling victim to the 3DS's issues. I don't blame the game for that one, per se, but it's still immensely annoying.
Also: God of War III is bad. Bad, bad, bad. The story is weak in comparison to the first one, the gameplay has shown absolutely NO evolution since the series started (even in the face of flawless action games like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry 3), the graphics engine had a lot of issues (not the least being the inconsistency in what it rendered well and what it didn't), and the game barely lasts five hours. I bought it for $14 from Blockbuster, being a HUGE fan of the original, and I STILL ...
LOL! ALL articles are made for hits, dear. That's why this site exists. Get over it.
To anybody claiming that this will "ruin" their gaming experience and will not buy Skyrim because of it: GOOD! I hope it DOES ruin your gaming experience! If you're the kind of person who would skip out on something as fantastic as an Elder Scrolls game just because of some gay content, then you don't deserve Skyrim in the first place. Please, please DO go out of your way to avoid this game and let the rest of us thinking human beings enjoy its many aspects.
