Really?! Your counter-argument is the fallacious slippery-slope?! Or the Creator argument?! I mean...REALLY?! That's all you can bring to the table?! I can't even with this kind of mentality and argument. I'm literally LOLLERSKATING right now at anyone trying to use this argument. Next up, do me a favor and tell me it's "unnatural" and write me a paragraph on how Leviticus says it's wrong. Go on! These stupid arguments won't write themselves now, will they? ...
LOL@ Anyone using reproduction as any form of argument. Because Lord knows that in a world of twelve billion people (and rising) what we need to focus more on than anything is our ability to reproduce. Double LOL@ Anyone using the argument of natural design or "purpose" while subsequently typing away at a computer and using any kind of technology. Because Lord also knows that following nature's path is clearly what humans should do and Lord knows that defying nature in any way i...
If the norm was being homosexual, humanity would be FABULOUS.
1.) Fair point.
2.) No, the choices in Mass Effect as a series are not gray in anyway. There are good choices, bad choices, and neutral ones. The games even tell you which choice is which by the way they are positioned on the dialogue wheel. Mass Effect 2 is an even bigger offender because you literally have NO choice: you HAVE to go either Paragon or Renegade route with very little deviation or you stand to lose Jack, Miranda, Tali, or Legion in the suicide mission. The game...
Awesome article. I miss Rare, I really do. The last great thing they made was Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise. I know many will disagree, but I think of TP as their magnum opus. It's probably the absolute best thing they have ever made (followed closely by Banjo-Kazooie and then Pefect Dark). That to me is beyond bitter sweet: it proves that Rare still has the talent and magic, but that Microsoft has no idea on how to direct the company there 90% of them. A shame really.

Skyrim will be remembered. Oblivion will not. The difference between those two games is that Oblivion is awful and Skyrim is fantastic. Morrowind and Skyrim will be the only games in TES series to be remembered when the years pass (Unfortunately, as good as Arena and Daggerfall are, they won't be remembered because they were not nearly as popular).
Good list. But Ninja Theory is too busy screwing up Devil May Cry to do a Heavenly Sword sequel.
Hasn't this site already made this same list like...four times already?
Meh. Uncharted 3 and God of War III are passable at best. They're pretty pedestrian games with semi-decent gameplay, covered in a coat of glitter to offset the lack of innovation or fluid gameplay design (he said, as he awaited the 5,000 "Disagree"s to appear underneath his post).
inFamous 2 is flippin' epic though. inFamous 2 is THE reason I have a PS3 (as far as exclusives go; not to suggest that there are no other reasons for me to own it). <3
Absolutely not. Those games were great for their time, but only Banjo-Kazooie survives the test of time. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, as much as I adore them, are really obsolete at this point. Not the least because Rare pushed the N64 hardware so much that the original Perfect Dark can barely keep a steady framerate. Conker is purely based on its humor, but its gameplay is only alright. DK64 was good and so was JFG, but JFG is hampered by terrible controls.
Banjo-Kazooie is e...
I also actually think that mentioning nickle-and-dimers as a solution to paying for online play isn't really a solution. THAT needs to go. Worse than patches and the Xbox LIVE fee is developers who want to take an arm and a leg from you with crappy DLC. Worse when they include it on the original disc and ask you to pay to unlock it.
Another thing that needs to go next generation: Capcom. There, I said. You were all thinking it too. :p
Patches aren't going anywhere, much less next generation. The more complex games get, the higher chance for error. Saying Bethesda is being lazy is kind of unfair when you consider the immense scope of their games. Patches for "unfinished games" are going to continue to increase.
P.S. Weren't the SNES versions of Mortal Kombat more censored than the Genesis ones? Or am I totally remembering incorrectly here?
Viva Pinata is the second best thing Rare has ever made (after Banjo-Kazooie). Shame nobody cares about it or even remembers it. One of the absolute best gaming experiences I've had this entire generation (although PDZ is one of the absolute worst. UGH!).
P.S. Good article overall though.
Dragon Age II was a lot more entertaining than Origins. Origins is just a typical PC RPG with a pretty standard/cliche story. It's generic in every way. The only saving graces of Origins were Morrigan, Alistair, and Shale. Everything else about the game was "whatever" at best. DA II isn't perfect, but it was definitely more fun and the story was world's above the one in Origins in every conceivable way.

Great review. Agreed on all points. :]
To be entirely honest, aside from my honest frustration with Mass Effect 2, most of the article is meant to be humorous. It's not really meant to be taken as seriously as other things I've written on there. You are very much right about your points here. Glad you liked the pun, by the by!
An article.
Garbage. Fighting games shouldn't have Move support.
