Him and a lot of other suits, this issue is severely ingrained into game dev culture. If one of them go, promise you, someone worse is gonna come along and things will be back at step 1

They are just faces for the shareholders

Unfortunately yes, I think its risky that unproven studios try and hit a homerun on the first try, there is no room to organically grow anymore, I'd wish they'd scale more.

lol yeah, and how to make it a live-service game

Depends, did the last few games flop sales-wise? If not, then no

Wonder if GTA 7 will release when a lot of us are still alive lol

They need to start releasing more spinoffs

I guess the question is if that's really the case, we are seeing live games fail left and right, not every game is becoming successful, and the really successful ones are still the old ones like Fortnite, Apex, Warzone, Destiny

It feels like they are going where the market has already been a while back and wasting good IP

lol yep

People all over the place with this, some want to stay, some don't sounds like a divide to me

Yep, I agree with the article that if they are going to do something like this today what will they do tomorrow. Figures that the CEO is from EA's greediest time too

Was quite surprised at just how great the game looked at times, I have played fallout 4, skyrim and stuff to death, so those were the visuals stuck in my head, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Some planets especially look so good

They had such a good thing going on, but turns out they were fattening themselves up. So many great IPs under them they could have utilised better than waste money on this.

But of course, it will be the dev who pays and not the people who brought about this issue in the first place :)

I love Last of Us, but nothing compares to Uncharted for me

Honestly, good, the more they can be designed with easily replaceable batteries in mind the better, just replacing batteries fixes a lot of issues at times.

Glad to see this getting nice reviews, I played that open beta they had, it was a lot of fun building these coasters.

cause it's not a common thing anymore, especially for a game of this calibre, but capcom/SE are pretty good in this regards, and shows confidence.

out of curiosity what do Microsoft gamers want?

1013d ago 8 agree5 disagreeView comment

literally don't even know the specs yet, but won't be surprised if without an SSD it doesn't load as quick, meaning the devs will still be technically right about needing an SSD hardware to achieve that.

So these articles are genuinely quite pointless imo

Why do so many people keep using images of the previous versions of DI2

NICE!

Going to probably play Burning Shores and Dead Island 2 before jumping back onto GoW, but excited to replay!
