I think the writer meant that the "demo was done poorly" because it was nothing new after what we all saw at the PS4 reveal.
Not US, us as in "us", as in all of us. ;)
Exactly right, and exactly why I gave it the score I did. It has flaws, but it's still a terrific game, and my experience with it was highly memorable.
I *think* just the online orders of either the Limited or Songbird editions, not the standard edition. And only the canceled ones.
Good call, guys. My bad. I need to go through the guidelines once in a while to refresh. Getting old makes me forget. :(
[Edit] I ended up changing the title of the article to match what I had in N4G. Thanks for the heads up.
The article is titled that on the site, true, but the content that we're pointing to is the advertising aspect. That's why it's titled this way on N4G.
It was pretty bad. They stuck it in a corner of their booth away from heavy traffic. Rightfully so, since it was atrocious.
It's something only Nintendo could think of.
This one was from last night, November 16th.
Click-bait.
Nothing was taken from NeoGAF. The pictures were sent to us via Twitter from the person who took them, who we know personally. We didn't even know they had gone up on GAF.
You can even check his Twitter account for the replies to me. (@kewlrats)
Nice way to insinuate something instead of asking first.
The economy of TF2, and what Valve has begun to do to talk about it, is pretty astounding. Almost puts the Diablo 3 auction house to shame.
I agree. It's what I say about Call of Duty. Why not just go to the Army or Navy instead? And with Mass Effect 3. Why cares? It's NOT REAL! It's "aliens" and idealized human beings playing with magic and fake weapons. Read a book, amirite?
What we were told at E3 is that the maps visually weren't completed yet. (That's why they still looked a little sparse). However, the gameplay was terrific and the matches were a heck of a lot of fun. There was a lot more motion and speed than in previous Halo multiplayer. We had to be much more tactical about where we were going and moving as a squad.
As a reference, I'm horrible at Halo and consistently led in the "death column", but still had a blast....
I totally agree. God bless XBLA and Xbox Live indie games for pushing the limits with these smaller endeavors!
It's the E3 lighting playing tricks, actually. :)
Totally agree.
Talking to the PR rep on hand, he told me that there would be no online multiplayer, only offline.
The online portion of the game would include MiiVerse, where if you die your character becomes a zombie in your friends' games
We did our best "educated guesses", which included asking a few developer friends as well. As anything, Nintendo is the hardest nut to crack for E3, and any prediction piece is just that: predictions.
:)
The title "Microsoft Wins E3 2012" is meant to be sarcastic. The podcast dives into how there really isn't much in the way of games this year for Xbox at E3.
Also: All of the E3-themed podcast in the series will be named "---- wins E3". We do Sony's next week, so if you have any predictions, let them fly and we'll read them on air. :)
That's what happened. Both were submitted shortly after one another, and one got approved first. So, I'm ceding this article to the other one. Even I personally hate seeing duplicate stories unless they bring something new and interesting.
