It's been a few months since I played this... I think it might be time to give it another bash.
£7.49 is a good price for any "full" game (as in, worthy of disc-based retail release), and if the range continues to expand in this way I could see some people investing in the service. Right now though, it's a nice addition to an average service, not a frontrunner in the field.
I'm done with it now. I'll play special ops on occasion maybe, but I can't really be bothered with the multiplayer.
that's great, but i've seen too much already. I want to wait til it launches now or there'll be no surprises left!
True, I get your point, but it's still a lot of the same staff working at Eidos as there used to be. Just becuase the bosses have changed doesn't mean the publishing teams can't still do a good job.
"as they should"
Meaning that it should be Warner publishing it? Or they should publish it worldwide? Or both?
Personally, apart from the PC delay perhaps, I though Eidos did a pretty good job bringing the first game to market.
I think I'm gonna be giving Rock Band another bash this week... it's been SOOOO long since I stuck that disc in!
I'm tempted to give this a go. I haven't had a decent "block breaker" game for at least a decade...
That makes two of us!
Please: No. Stop the madness now.
I'm told I'll be getting a copy prior to christmas - GO ME!
I can't wait...
I actually quite like the idea of this - something a bit more interesting than a hot chick with guns and a sword in bullet-time.
I didn't bother with the first pack, but this sounds a lot better and I need another excuse to stick Brutal Legend back in my disc drive...
I think I'd have to go for the Gamestation comic - all the other stuff you'l probably be able to download eventually anyway.
10 million in five years?! That's nearly twice as quickly as the PS2 was selling in it's prime!
I've never really been one for downloading games, I've always preferred the retail copies to digital ones. But if Games for Windows picks-up titles like those on XBLA, I could see myself getting quite addicted...
Awesome! Windows Live is starting to grow on me... love that GamerScore!
Not actually reading the story before judging it then? Nice to see some things don't change!
Umm... how, exactly?! They're pretty much the same, except the 360 art has an inch or so more of Lightning on it!
I call "lame".
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Heavy Rain, I enjoyed Farhenheit (Indigo Prophecy) too, but there's two separate principles at work here. If you're trying to make an interactive filmic experience, deliver it in the Hollywood mould - blockbuster and blockbuster sequel. We don't want the TV spin-off.
