Check out VR Rock for prescription lenses.
11th Dec looks mightily busy.
That's a huge amount of titles for the device. Surprised about the quantity, but not necessarily the selection.
Very keen to see what the devs can do with that little extra grunt on PC and PS5.
I think there may be more than you imagine. There's only a handful of games with specified dates right now, but as per the article there's plenty with 'Q4 TBC' style announcements. This seems to be the way of VR right now, and PSVR 2 is no exception.
You should, it's good.
Completely agree. Even without first-party support, there are still plenty of incredible experiences to be had on PSVR 2!
The question marks over the Quest 4 are 'when', not 'if'. Meta's new approach is smart glasses, putting a longer divide between Quest iterations. This is a good move, in my opinion. It will lead to eventual convergence of AR and VR.
As someone who has been working in VR for more than a decade, I can tell you that the problem is not that VR doesn't have many games, it's that it has too many!
Many VR games rely on shock value or established trends rather than pushing ahead. The problem isn't a lack of content; it's a lack of content that truly aims to push the medium forward.
3 of these are in the video/article!
One day. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully...
Indeed, as stated in the article there were tonnes of control options and very much a 'take whatever you like, leave the rest' attitude to most of the game's extras.
Indeed. The game can still be played online on PC.
Xbox 360 players, though? Bang outta luck.
No.
But actually still yes.
Still DS1? You don't feel it's been surpassed yet?
Demon's Souls has the remake of course, but DS1 has surely been outdated?
If you're wanting more PSVR 2 support, you should probably buy all of these games.
Speak with your wallet!
I don't think Mario Kart 8 (and Deluxe) rank too highly for me, personally. There's just not as much life in them.
I love to revisit old games, but sometimes, they just don't hold up to your rose-tinted glasses view of when you played them in the past.
Nostalgia is a wonderful thing, but also very misleading!
Agreed. Simple with depth =/= simple for simple's sake.
Totally agree. Really looking forward to this one, just hope they nail that dark tone.
