It's mostly getting 80-90's isn't it? I haven't seen anything lower than 80. Unless you mean the PSP version...
I think that's inevitable after a beta though. After you've had a taste, there' a lot less guess work involved - it's much less of an unknown quantity for people to hype about.
"wacky controls"? I think it handles exactly the same as the more recent Mario Kart games - except for the shunts and sideswipes of course.
September.

It looks interesting, but most things like this in games are veryt limited. Once you have headshots, kneecaps and multi-kills, what else are they going to reward you for?
I'd like a game where every move is connected to your score - even just approaching an enemy between shots should add a small amount of points, as it's a tactical decision you've made.
This is true, and Namco Bandai owns majority shares in ATARI, and now publishes their games in Europe under the ATARI brand. Similar to Square Enix and the EIDOS brand, but they didn't buy them outright.
Like clockwork, European date has been announced too!

Yeah, I'm very interested to see how Splatterhouse turns out. I've got the second one on the Mega-Drive (Genesis), and while it's nothing special it's a fun little game...
Did you even read the review? It barely mentions the originally intended free roaming or it's length of time in development. It's more concerned with the delivery of the story...
For the asking price, it certainly looks like you can't go too wrong with this. I'll be following it closely until launch - expecting a big show of it at E3.
I don't really know why, but I'm actually looking forward to this game quite a lot.
I'm really impressed. Much better than the 2008 game, even if it is a bit easy.
That's wrong, it's got co-op.
I know TKE are planning on pushing it big at E3... they're going to start ramping it up for a late summer launch from then.
That's not true, I'm afraid.
While technically acheiving "platinum" status means having sold a million, Sony changed the rules in PAL regions quite some time ago. The target is now only 400,000 units, but it must be 400,000 in PAL regions ALONE.
I'm all over this. When's it coming out in the US? Are the Europe and North America getting it at the same time?
Don't get me wrong, I understand your point, but it's for those gamers such as myself that play many, many games - the game should be a separate act to the DLC, in that the game is played through as one entity and the DLC as another.
And for those who only play a handful of games, and don't regularly keep updated with all the latest news, being confronted with the option for additional content without even having played the game yet can be somewhat confusing.
Wasn't AMAZED by the first title, but I think it was interesting enough to warrant a sequel...
I don't thonk so personally, I think it just confuses things. This way is better - give people time to get through the game, move on to something else, then come back to it a little later.
Of course, it also means you're less likely to trade the game in so quickly, keeping the retail price high for longer. It's all part of a clever marketing strategy...
Did you not want to have a go on some of the new game modes? One or two were pretty cool.
