No, families are getting Wii, Kinect and Move games. This is the point - games that play just like 'traditional' game experiences, but with a context tailored towards female gamers is what we're short of. Most females I know like the idea of Mass Effect or Dragon Age, but the violent twist to the game doesn't hook them like it does myself.
That is most definately the problem! We get 12 new games a month, tackling all sorts of genre and issues, while in the same month female gamers are 'catered for' with Grease: The Game and a new SingStar...
I think it's to add a level of diversity. There's no denying that the cross-over betwene what men and women want from games is limited, and men's perception that women want shopping, hairstyling and horse riding games is far from accurate. Getting more women involved in gaming will result in more games delivering content that women would be intersted in playing.
I'm not saying that no women are intersted in shooting things in the face, but it's a decided...
As far as I'm aware, that's still open to debate at the minute. BLUESIDE has stated that it's in development for Xbox 360 and PC, and that a PS3 version is very possible, but haven't actually confirmed it.
Fancy going to Korea, eh?!

Certainly looks interesting...
There's a HUGE single-player campaign mode too, and that's supposed to be the big feature of the console versions - don't write it off yet!
Agreed. It could have been a lot worse!
Played it yesterday - looking good!
I'm actually quite looking forward too Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll.
That's actually pretty tasty!
It was actually ten last Saturday. They had a big party at TGS. Jus' sayin'.
Respect (and bubbles). Got it one, Raikiri.
Yeah, but when it's such a big game even more so!
I'm really excited about this! The more I see it, the better it seems to get!
Disagree. It was a GOOD PS2 game, it was a BRILLIANT GameCube game!
I know a guy with a hardcore hard-on for this game. He'll cry if it comes to Europe. Cry hard.
It's a dire situation. We're thinking about importing some specimens from California... ;)
It's probably going to be very, very limited numbers...
Depends on your perspective, as with any game.
If you're patient and like score-run mechanics - like a slow, meticulously planned Tony Hawk's stunt run - then yes, it's lots of fun. If you want five minute bursts of all-out action, stick with the blockbuster FPS's.
