The price point is excellent. Let's just all acknowledge that no matter what it was, Xbox fanatics would have said its too much. Unless it was 99 dollars. Then they would have said it's too cheap and of low quality gimmicky type hardware. Regardless many thought it would cost 450 on up. Meaning its well within their range of acceptability according to most critics at this site.
It was never in doubt. All these article writers are in Microsoft back pocket. A majority of last generation PlayStation outsold Microsoft. Microsoft mere lived off its American NPD and years lead launching. Microsoft never actually had a lead sales wise month to month except holidays last generation. They will greatly limit themselves. All the power of where a games goes or does not cones from the console leader of the generation and devs wanting exposure. Well finally you see the flaw after great games like Until Dawn had already suffered similar fates. Great game but it comes down to taste, bias, or preconceived notions about a game. These reviews are of course flawed at times. Only heavy hitters like Halo or Uncharted autoe get higher scores because of the weight behind them.

Well I wouldn't go that far. Uncharted is a pretty big franchise. Battlefield maybe COD again? No Mans Sky could be the most important if it does well exclusively though.
Sure. :) triple AAA exclusive if they want to call Quantum Break a exclusive AAA title. I'll go by their definition. They often said games with higher scores than Quantum Break are not AAA titles because of the score. So I'll just add these titles now as great exclusives if the definition has changed for Quantum Break.
